We stayed at Brent’s place for two days and everyone loved it. The views were stunning and we had a great time despite the cold. We even went kayaking when the sun came out. The rooms and bathroom were clean and we enjoyed the large windows with scenic views. Though the pool was closed for the season, the cozy gazebo made up for it and we spent most of our time there though we could only use it once due to rain and cold. Big thanks to Brent for being a responsive and kind host! One suggestion: Placing the jacuzzi under a covered deck/ retractable shade, so it can be enjoyed even in the rain while still have an ability to rub under the night sky.

We absolutely love staying in this wonderfully cared for and peaceful cabin! Christine and Jeremie are such welcoming and responsive hosts, we never worry about a thing. When we land we're worn out and exhausted but once we leave we feel rested and restored. Many, many thanks to Christine and Jeremie for sharing their small slice of paradise with us. We always look forward to our next visit!

This is an immaculate summer home with just about every amenity needed for a great family stay. Clean, modern, well built and provisioned with comfortable furniture and high end appliances. Rent without any reservation about your vacation being perfect.

Nice little place to use as a starting point to do the Cabot Trail circuit! Booked it fairly last minute, but Ian was still there to great me with a smile on arrival and show me around the small space. Great little place if all you're looking to do is sleep and clean up a bit, since it's a smaller space with not many extras. I was in a rush booking and didn't realize the common area (couches, wood burning stove, some basic kitchen appliances) which includes the bathroom (a lockable room with the kitchen sink, shower, and toilet) were actually shared with the other bunkie on premises. The other guests were respectful and we had a nice short chat when bumping into each other on the way to a shower or such, before heading our separate ways. Although the separation of bed space did make any late night trips to the bathroom a bit chilly, as you have to walk out of your bunkie to the common room. But besides that, it was a clean, nice place to lay my head before a long day of adventuring.

Jennie and Guy were amazing hosts. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their cozy home has ample space on the main level for indoor living if you ever needed a break day. The deck is large and private and probably my favourite part of the house. The kitchen is extremely well stocked which made cooking away from home an enjoyable experience. The home gets a great breeze from the ocean which kept things cool on the inside and left us with no bugs on the outside! Jennie and Guy provided some excellent tips for things to do in the area and we used the home as a jump off point to see many other fun things in Cape Breton. While not immediately on the ocean, you can still see it from the deck and they were happy to share their kayaks and paddle board with us. A very nice perk which you won't find in many places. The little island is picturesque with lots of beautiful scenery to explore. The local beach was sandy and warm and the two pubs we went to were quite nice as well. Overall, I would highly recommend it. The value for money was extremely fair and we had a great experience overall. Thanks for the memories!

It was super incredible!! Loved it ! Wish we could have stayed longer !! So quiet and beautiful! Ate oysters on the beach ! Never done that before !! So good !! Want to come again!!

The house on the lake was just what we needed to enjoy a cousin get-away! The house has plenty of indoor space to socialize and relax. The outdoor space was stunning ~ loons, heron, and otters entertained us in the lake. There are extra bedrooms and bathroom in the converted garage. It is very peaceful and the scenery is beautiful.

Staying at Cheryl’s was absolutely wonderful and just what we were needing after our few weeks of travel! Everything in her home was so well thought-out ( including water and treats upon our arrival ), a well-stocked kitchen, cozy bedding and living space…and even a swing for us to enjoy our morning coffee on at sunrise at the water’s edge…. We were so fortunate to spend spring break at Mark's place with our 3 kids. Upon walking in the view of the ocean is breathtaking. Mark has done an impeccable job renovating this place. The kitchen is a dream (hello gas oven ❤️) and the shower is super cool. The basement was perfect for our two older kids to have their own space. We really appreciated all the games and activities he provided - hours of fun just with monopoly and scrabble. That's the thing about this place - being inside it is a vacation in itself. So many touches to this place that make it stand out from the many others we have stayed. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us.

Definitely deserves the Super Host status. Would recommend to anyone.

Our stay in the house with our 2 kids and dog was wonderful. The kids loved searching for sea glass on the beach across the road and playing games in the large yard. Neighbours were friendly and helped us secure dog-sitting services for a day from a friend of theirs only 10 minutes away. Pondville Beach was a short drive and the kids were able to see large lobsters beside the pier. The quiet location, big yard, and pet-friendly beaches nearby made it an ideal spot for us. We got to meet our host, and he was able to provide info on the area and surrounding communities. Listing was as described in the ad.

I can't say enough about this place! It was VERY peaceful and private with a gorgeous sand beach right at the doorstep. We wondered why it was called 'Seal Rock House' until we woke up one morning and saw the seals!!! We spent hours watching them and it was a highlight of our tour around the province. The house was spotless, had comfy beds, and we loved the design. We felt at home. Christoph was an amazing host. He was very friendly and left great info about the surrounding area, plus some menus we ordered from quite frequently! An incredible place to stay and an extremely reasonable price! Very highly recommended!!!!!
