La chambre est très confortable, spacieuse et lumineuse. Exactement comme sur les photos. L'emplacement permets de visiter Udaipur à pied . Bhomik et sa famille nous on super bien accueilli et ils étaient toujours disponible si nous avions besoin de quelque chose, ils étaient également flexible concernant les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. Le petit déjeuner maison était délicieux et varié (nous sommes resté 1 mois). La maison est très calme, cependant il y a un temple à coté qui met de la musique tous les matin de 6h à 8h et en face une salle des fêtes en plein air qui mets de la musique plus ou moins fort le soir jusque 22h30 (nous y étions en avril)

This pristine home stay is everything it promises to be and a lot more. Bear in mind that it is a little bit out of the city which is why we chose it. The hosts are very helpful in getting you tuk tuks or taxis (we had our own driver which was a plus). Secondly, it is not a hotel, it is a Homestay and an excellent one at that! Our room offered 120 degrees views of the lake, was impeccably clean and well equipped. Our server at the restaurant, Mr. J P Singh was a kind, hospitable man who always served us with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious, tasted like home and was fresh and flavourful. The host, Shivika, has paid every attention to detail and curated art, photos and even plants to enhance the ambience. We, Julien and Jasmine would surely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Superb stay, felt like home. Mr.dilpat singh chauhan was superb at his hospitality. Zero interference by host and mrs. chauhan was so kind . we had breakfast at last day of our departure that was so delicious like home only that's a must try. Good vibes and peaceful environment. Go ahead you will never regret staying at this place.

Came to Ahmedabad to explore the city but ended up spending most of the time in the compound. Felt very homely, especially the sit-out area. The helper bhaiyya was very kind and provided us with whatever we needed during the stay. All in all an amazing place and will definitely visit again. We highly recommend this place.

Staying with Jagdip uncle and his family in Ahmedabad was an unforgettable experience. Their home, a beautiful 200+ year-old traditional Gujarati haveli, gave me a true taste of the region’s heritage and culture. From the carved wooden doors to the open courtyards, every corner tells a story — it felt like stepping into the real Gujarat. What made the stay even more special was the warmth of the family. From day one, I was welcomed as one of their own. Despite global tensions, the atmosphere here was peaceful and comforting. The hospitality was incredible — home-cooked meals, heartfelt conversations, and every little gesture made me feel completely at ease. I’m leaving with a heart full of memories and deep gratitude. Highly recommend this stay to anyone seeking an authentic and soulful experience in Ahmedabad. I can’t wait to return and make more memories in this beautiful home.

We stayed with our infant for 3 days and the stay was so royal with perfect touch of udaipur. We enjoyed the stay. The room was just perfect to our holiday mood. This is MUST STAY if you are looking for homely, udaipur feel, well connected location. 🎉🎉🎉

We loved everything about Rosie’s Retreat! What distinguishes Rosie’s from the countless other guesthouses in the old city is the true home stay feel. The downstairs courtyard and upstairs rooftop are awesome and the overall ‘vibe’ of the space is immaculate. But more than anything, people make a place feel like home—and the people at Rosie’s are truly special. From Veni the housekeeper to Veerendra the manager, everyone we interacted was lovely. Special shoutout to Rosie’s neighbor Jogi! If you stay at Rosie’s find him for a tour of the city on his Rickshaw. He has a lovely family (including an adorable German Shepard) and was a huge part of making our stay feel like a true home stay. Frankly, I was surprised to see a few negative reviews about this place. Seems totally unfounded to me—everything from the location, to the service, to the space itself is perfect. One of our best Airbnb experiences ever.
