This place was very peaceful and out of the busyness of the main strip. It was perfect walking distance to the beach. The hosts were very kind and super helpful with everything.

Really nice place. With great AC, and has everything you need and good kitchen, and hammocks and a pool aswell! We stayed next to some Americans on there spring break, so a little noisy in the evening, but they went out, so everything was nice and quiet:)

Très beau séjour, l'auberge est très bien située , pas trop loin de la plage. Nous avons été bien reçu, le personnel est sympathiques et pro actif. La cuisine est bien organisée et équipée. Vraiment rien a dire de négatif......je conseille cette auberge à tous

Casa Aura is a great place to stay at on the main road and beachfront, without the pain of being in the middle of the touristy section

Séjour exceptionnel!! Endroit tres bien aménager et tellement beau. Toute était tres propre et tel que photo! La vraie vie au milieu de la nature dans une ferme auto suffisante!! Nous avons adorer l’expérience avec nos quatre enfants. Les repas (avec léger supplement$) étaient délicieux!! Rencontrer des gens incroyables dans un atmosphère incroyable. De plus, quand la nature se réveil le matin, s’est magnifique a entendre. Le ruisseau, le paresseux qui vie sur le terrain avec son petit bébé, et les dizaines de oiseaux différents wow!!! Nous nous sommes senti chez nous et complètement dépaysé en meme temps. Merci pour ce séjour, nous recommandons 100%

We really had a great stay at Casa Aura. Would not hesitate to recommend to others looking for a very nice hostel, close to the beach, with beautiful surroundings and breakfast included. Great value for the money.

I wasn't going to post a review because I had a very few nits with the place that might have led me to give it less than five stars. There were basically only two regarding the place itself. The first was the lack of a lamp on the dresser next to the bed, which left the room lit by only the fan light in the ceiling and I found that to be a sadly lost opportunity for a warmer ambience. The other was that the floor in the shower was slippery and I had to be careful about not falling. I really didn't want to mention these things (I'm reviewing only because he reviewed me and I want to see what he wrote), as I told them to Manuel and I'm sure he'll correct both of them. In fact he said he had two lamps I could use, but it was already too late in the evening to bother. And I'm sure he'll put a mat in the shower. Everything else was fine, except there was confusion finding the place as several other reviewers have mentioned. I'll send him a better map. In general very highly recommended!

Excelente lugar para hospedarse, incluyen el desayuno que es el plato típico de Costa Rica y además tienen muy buen sazón. A unos pasos hay restaurantes, farmacias, tours e incluso pudimos disfrutar de clases de surf en la playa que está justo frente al lugar.

Good price for Nosara! The place itself is a little basic but super cozy and all the people staying there were very nice and friendly! Felino is very kind and always there to help you out with your concerns. We could even use his surfboards for free. Thank you

I had a wonderful stay at TamaHostel and I will most definitely be back. It is an amazing deal for the price and the type of people it attracts is amazing. If you’re into surfing and generally have a laid back personality you will definitely make friends easily here. The volunteers are amazing and extremely helpful, if you’re a solo traveller and coming to Tamarindo, TamaHostel is the place to be! :)

Had a great stay here, lovely peaceful location, close to the big grocery store and the gas station. Fairly reasonable pricing

Un lugar muy roots que aconsejo a quien quiera un espacio sencillo rodeado de naturaleza. Felino es muy muyyy amable y gentil. La playa está a 30 min caminando y el supermercado a 5 min. Si van a Nosara y quieren una experiencia más autentica, es 100% el lugar donde quedarse!
