You can take 10 min walk, bike or a 3 min drive to the neighborhood lake/beach area bring your shade and beach chairs for a day of swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking. Old Hancock Trail is about 3.5 miles and then curves back around making the trip about 7 miles perfect for hiking along the lake. Canyon lake Marina is 10 min drive.

We are just 4 miles from the famous "Tubing on the Horseshoe" and "Whitewater Amphitheater," and only 2 miles from the Guadalupe River Access Trail! Our rustic Writer's Cabin is absolutely charming. The 16 x 20 main room has a queen size bed, Roku TV, poker table, and efficiency kitchen area that includes a small fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee-maker, and double sink. The bathroom has a large shower and a rod for your hanging clothes. You will also enjoy the rockers on the front porch, which are great for sipping coffee while visiting, watching life on the farm and awesome sunsets!
