We loved our stay in this lovely place. The excellent kitchen was fully equipped to make a smoothie or full dinner. There is a spacious and light sitting/dining room with lovely plants and huge tv. The bedrooms have good wardrobe space and very comfortable beds, tv & a/c. The bathroom has a very good shower. Our favourite area was the terrace garden with a bbq and amazing pool! Which we enjoyed using so much. There are pool towels and super loungers as well as a table, chairs and fabulous sun umbrella. The pool and garden lighting is very pretty. Our lovely host was very helpful and immediately sorted out any minor problems. We were their the day and night of the 'great blackout' and the night sky was incredibly beautiful. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Wat een prachtige plek! Deze accommodatie is ruim, netjes, sfeervol en vooral de terrassen zijn zo fijn!! Wat hebben we daar heerlijk gezeten. Het uitzicht is over de groene heuvels ook adembenemend. Verder is het appartement goed verzorgd. Het centrum van het prachtige Frigiliana is op loopafstand wat deze plek extra aantrekkelijk maakt. De communicatie met Patricia is heel prettig: ze reageert snel en vriendelijk. Enige nadeel is dat wanneer de accommodatie boven je is verhuurd je je bovenburen kunt horen, vooral op het terras. Maar bij rustige mensen is dat geen probleem. We raden dit fijne appartement zeker aan!

Toda la estancia ha sido perfecta. Ángela muy amable y atenta, comunicación genial y la llegada también. Nos recomendó restaurantes por la zona y genial. El lugar es precioso, en medio de la naturaleza, de la sierra, a 10 minutos de Arcos de la Frontera, a 1h de la playa de Conil por ejemplo. La zona de piscina un 10! El apartamento cómodo, con buen gusto e impecable la limpieza, un 10 también!

Had a fantastic weekend stay! The place was great for our group of friends. It was spacious comfortable, as well as clean as per the photos. The Host was incrediblyy responsive and helpful, ansering all out questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this spot for groups.

Wij verbleven de gehele maand januari in het prachtige ruime huis, voorzien van alle gemakken en voldeed prima voor ons. Gekozen voor januari omdat het dan nog niet zo warm is in Spanje en gekozen voor de ligging in de bergen vanwege de rust en de natuur. Het huis ligt net buiten het dorpje Periana met een schitterend vrij uitzicht richting het stuwmeer en in de verte de zee. Hebben prachtige bergwandelingen gemaakt direct in de omgeving of met de auto kleine dorpjes bezocht of heerlijke strandwandelingen gemaakt aan de kust in Torre del Mar dat vanuit Periana in een halfuurtje te bereiken is. Achter het huis bevond zich een ruime tuin met strandstoelen en barbecue en was afsluitbaar zodat ons kleine hondje niet weg kon lopen en heerlijk kon spelen, op het bordes aan de voorkant kon je ook heerlijk zitten en genieten van het zonnetje. Het huis was brandschoon maar vanwege de wintermaanden wel fris, dus de houtkachel of elektrische moest wel aan. Andrés was een prima gastheer voor ons.

We had a wonderful month long stay at Lorie’s beautiful villa. It was well equipped for all our cooking and hosting needs. Spacious and comfortable for a group of 8. We enjoyed walking down the hill to the beach (20 min) and taking day trips to nearby Nerja, Granada, Malaga, Solabrena, and further to Seville and Ronda. Watching the sunrise over the hills and sea from the front patio with the stunning view will be etched in our memories of this happy time in La Herradura. The village itself is quiet and less touristy than others but with plenty of restaurants and activities for the family. Lorie was quick to respond to all our requests and a gracious host.

Sergio, un casero atento, adecuado y amable. Tod@s hemos quedado encantad@s con el apartamento y con el trato que nos ha dado. Recomendado cien por cien. Todo limpio, ordenado y acomodado a cualquier necesidad que pueda surgir. Un detalle a destacar: habia agua micelar en el baño, un detalle para chicas que creo que refleja el cuidado que pone en todo en general. Ninguna queja. 😊😊

our flight was arriving at 11:55am and we were due at the villa for 12:20pm. Federico informed me we could arrive early (2pm was check-in) and help ourselves to the beer tap and sit on the outside terrace to enjoy ourselves while they finished with the cleaning. As soon as he was done, he drove a couple of us to the local supermarket to stock up on food & drink. He purchased around 50 litres of water for us while at the shops and also gifted us 2 full kegs of beer to enjoy! Excellent, friendly host who was always very pleasant with us and had lovely things to say about us during our stay. This villa was well worth the value and we would ALL go back in a heartbeat. The area is really secluded, which was great for us, but as long as you install the Uber app, the taxis are only ever a 10-15 minute wait and prices are reasonable. The sound system and amenities were amazing too and perfect for large group settings. Thanks again to Federico for being such a welcoming and friendly host!
