Enjoy our holiday cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Many lakes, fells and beaches are easily drivable. Birkrigg common isn’t far and gives lovely views. The Railway Inn pub is a 5-min walk away & serves food some evenings There are buses to both Barrow & Ulverston and beyond at the end of the road. Ulverston is famous for its festivals which attract lots of tourists. Barrow is only a 10-minute drive away for shops or if you want to go a little further Walney nature reserves are lovely.

8 Copper Rigg, a comfortable terraced cottage in the village of Broughton-in-Furness, west lakes. Enjoy the convenience of great pubs, a fine butcher, greengrocer and local bakery on your doorstep. After a spell away from the holiday market, we are very pleased this property is back again! Broughton in Furness, a superb base to explore the English Lakes, with stunning mountain scenery and beautiful coastline. Windermere and Ambleside are within an hour's drive, Coniston less than half an hour.

We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.
