The host was very responsive and flexible. We rented the house for a work project and it was very nice to have a place that felt more like home to come back to after a long day. Unfortunately our stay was before the pool had fully opened but the sound and views of the Jackson river was very peaceful while relaxing on the porch each evening. I would definetly stay here again for future projects in the area. I would recommend future guests to plan to bring or buy additional tolietries and cooking essentials (oil, sugar, coffee, etc) for extended stays.

Absolutely stunning place, the Mountain View was breathtaking! Wanted a peaceful environment with a homey feel and this Airbnb was perfect for it. Would definitely like to come back!

It is a beautiful place located at the very top of the mountain. Gorgeous inside and out; I would definitely stay again. When I say beautiful, I mean a BEAUTIFUL place. Simple suggestions: I highly suggest you check in during daylight. Being from Ohio, getting up the hill after dark can be challenging, as there are no lights on the way up. Also, the road is incredibly narrow. Once you go up the hill during the daylight, you’ll have no problem navigating. The Internet is pretty good, although I had to study for an exam I didn’t plan on. It was a bit challenging, but I got through it (Internet, slightly slow). Bath robes in the master bathroom, I tend to bring my own with me and I’m glad I did because the bathrooms had some hair from another person so I do suggest for your own. Whirlpool tub in the lower level. although it was clean, I have learned previously to fill the tub and run the jets to make sure it’s completely clean and unfortunately, there were black sediments.

My daughter used Lynn's house for the base of her preparations in the 2 days prior to her wedding. It was 4-5 miles from the wedding venue, Westwinds, which is also managed by Lynn and her husband. (It's wonderful, and beautiful; look it up!). The house had plenty of room for the bride and bridesmaids to gather/visit and get ready for the wedding. The space was clean and neat, and had everything that we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor spaces were perfect for relaxing and visiting. It has a beautiful pool to use during the summer months. Lynn's house is welcoming and warm! We thoroughly enjoyed use of her beautiful space!

For me personally, this was my favorite Airbnb i have rented. I needed the seclusion, one of those getaway from everywhere type vacations and this fit that perfect. The pool on the lake was so cool along with the sauna, i was there everyday. Its 20 minties from town but there are some very goos restaurants and its 1 hiur from new river gorge with very scenic drives. We will be back!.

We had a wonderful time staying at this place with our family. We have three kids, including two toddlers, and our parents joined us as well. On the first day, we arrived in the evening, and it was a bit difficult for us to find the location. Fortunately, Gina and her husband assisted us in getting there. Initially, we were worried because it felt isolated, but we ended up enjoying our stay immensely. The next morning, we woke up to a beautiful location by the riverside, complete with plenty of amenities to use. Thank you for hosting us Gina!!

Rhonda's place is clean, and well supplied! She has a cute little house that has a touch of history and charm. I would stay here again if we visited the area in the future!

Jessica’s home was beautiful, we had such a peaceful stay. It was very clean and we all felt right at home. We made breakfast and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hidden cupboard with games was a hit with the kids. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. We would definitely love to come back.

Great stay! Easy check-in, super responsive hosts, the house is very nice and exceptionally clean. It was very warm even during the cold nights. The beds were excellent and very comfy. We had a fantastic time and would certainly return.

We loved this house. The owners have put a lot of thought into the layout and details, and the little things they did to go above and beyond made our trip extra special: body wash, shampoo, conditioner, soap provided, plenty of nice towels, plenty of coffee and sugar, etc. The furniture and beds are extremely comfortable and the outside area (firepit) is so nice to hang out with family/friends. This is a great place to stay, and the owner is extremely quick to respond to any and all questions!

This house was adorable and absolutely perfect for a ladies weekend away. We could walk to the downtown area, and there was plenty of sleeping space. The front porch with that big porch swing was amazing ambiance, and we loved being able to sit out back at the table with the twinkle lights as well. Thank you for a great weekend!

This was a very peaceful and cute stay! My significant other, pup, and I spent the weekend and loved the outdoorsy feel. The air bnb location was a perfect quaint, and quiet area right on the river with trails and waterfall nearby. My favorite part was hearing the river right outside the whole time. The fire pit and games were a plus as well. Would recommend!

We will definitely be booking this place again. It is super easy to get to, peaceful, relaxing, quiet and refreshing. The house is beautiful inside and couldn’t have been any cleaner. We felt relaxed and right at home from the first moment we walked through the door. Sitting on the front porch was awesome and it does actually overlook the Greenbrier River Trail in Renick. From the house, we rode the trail north one day and south another and both ways were scenic and beautiful. I’m not normally a person who leaves reviews but our weekend was so relaxing and wonderful, I just really wanted to let future guests know about our experience.

Aaron was a great host. Extremely responsive via text / phone call for a few questions we had about the house. The house itself was great. Very old with rustic charm which we loved. We really enjoyed sitting out on the front porch and the foliage was gorgeous in the front yard. Photos were very accurate. The only negative I would say is that the king bedroom on the front of the house that overlooks the main road is very loud, which was a little disruptive for sleep/ naps for our toddler even with a sound machine on. Beds were very comfortable and none of the other guests noticed the street noise because of their room locations were farther away. Town was very sleepy which is what we expected! We enjoyed the playground in walking distance, dinner out, lunch out, and the nearby brewery was fun. Boys went to a golf course nearby that was much cheaper than GB. Overall, we had a very enjoyable trip!

This was an absolutely wonderful place for us to stay. The hosts were very accommodating to the needs of our group and very communicative. The kitchen was well equipped and there was ample space for people to relax and it felt super comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a larger place to gather.

This was a wonderful, clean, house, very relaxed and we felt right at home. We enjoyed the campfire. We visted the local water falls and the Grist Mill at Babcock State Park. Our favorite restaurant was the Market place by the courthouse. The direction took us right to the house with no issues. Megan was quick to answer any questions. The app shares a lot of info so I say read and learn try all places.
