As described, if your looking for a quiet, rural break with basics, then a stay here is just that. Outdoor hot shower and hot running water in the viking long house was an added bonus, shop on site with local produce was brilliant. The accommodation is kitted out well, from bottle openers to cheese graters and a mini fridge (very useful). There isnt a TV, & no wifi in accommodation to connect online gaming and we are so glad there isnt, it was brill. We explored the farm and local area, read books and played loads of family games. Criccieth is worth a visit, with a castle and great cafes. Porthmadog is just down the road for crab fishing if you fancy it. Overall, a gem of a place that provides a real chance to chill and connect as a family.

I can’t speak highly enough of the space and Emma, the host. Emma is extremely responsive with any queries whatsoever. She was so knowledgeable and helpful and the check in was seamless. When we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat but the pictures just don’t do it justice. The yurt is absolutely magical and Emma has thought of everything, anything you could possibly need is provided and the instruction booklet is clear and thorough so you know how everything works. We slept like kittens in the very comfy bed and it is so unbelievably cosy and relaxing, we didn’t stop smiling the whole time. Thoroughly recommend taking advantage of the hot tub and the pizza oven, Emma’s dough was delicious and the instructions to work the oven were very clear and helpful. We didn’t want to leave. The whole place is so magical with the fairy lights and going to sleep to the sound of owls was really lovely. We will 100% be back. Thank you so much, Emma ❤️❤️❤️

Très bon séjour de 4 nuits chez Emma et Jon, nous avons été très bien accueillis. Nous étions seuls sur le site et avons pu pleinement profiter des commodités. Les yourtes sont très spacieuses et cosy avec le poêle à bois. La cuisine commune est très bien équipée et nettoyée chaque jour. Emma et Jon sont très réactifs (changement du chauffe eau défectueux dans la journée). Ils ont toujours un mot gentil, sans etre envahissant. Pas de vue direct sur le loch comme les photos pourraient le suggérer. Le petit plus: les œufs frais du poulailler.

Such a wonderful place this was my second stay. I went with my friend last August and returned with my husband as I enjoyed it so much. Beautiful yurt such a cosy feeling the Highland cows are wonderful, also the friendly dogs one of which enjoyed playing football with my husband. We had the choices of cooking in the fantastic kitchen facilities or ordering food locally which came right up and delivered at the yurt so had the best of both which made this a nice relaxing few days. Thank you, Andrea you have a wonderful place.

Beautiful space, so close to great hiking. Never had such a good shower! Loved it.

We spent 2 lovely nights in the yurt, which could have been a challenge since it is January! But everything was super, despite snow and rain and minus temperatures! It is very peaceful, pretty isolated with amazing views and sunsets. It is 'back to basics' - but as described. The outdoor kitchen was fun, and had most things we needed. The fire 'pit' has a grill and there was plenty of wood and kindling. We did bring our own chairs (lots of log seating, but all a bit damp in winter). The water had frozen when we arrived but Rosie left us 2 large cartons of water, so all good. And the yurt was toasty once we lit the indoor burner. Woods are full of wildlife, spotted 2 deer and an owl... and heard much more. Will be back in the warmer months for sure!

We had a really relaxing stay! The whole place was idyllic, secluded, and peaceful. We slept warm in a very comfortable bed with a log fire and the sounds of wildlife around us, played pool and cooked in the barn cottage, and the bathroom was spacious and shower amazing. We cooked over an open fire pit and sat around the bonfire, everywhere we looked there were little characterful details, and we found it the ideal location to visit both north and south Cornwall. Rufus greeted us warmly and made sure we knew to contact him for any reason then left us to enjoy ourselves. One day we’d love to return to the yurt and cobb cottage, a real find!

Beautiful yurt, very relaxing and cosy. Isla gave brilliant directions, helpful in every way. The yurt was equipped with everything you could possibly need, shower lovely and hot. We would love to return.

What a wonderful place!! absolutely stunning, each area is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. the yurt and beds very comfy with electric blankets. kitchen area with table and shower, outdoor bath and sauna perfect!! under shelter fire, hammocks and seating area all wonderful. connected with nature and left feeling refreshed. highly recommed staying here!!! Absolutely loved our time at Carol’s yurt. Looks just like photos, and is extremely cosy. Despite high winds and a bit of rain we were able to enjoy the wood fired hot tub which was absolutely amazing and made us feel cosy and ready to relax. Having the adjacent kitchen and toilet right outside was extremely useful and meant that our stay was very comfortable (I like my comfort so was very pleased with this). The site is so eco friendly, it’s truly a pleasure to be there and the setup that Carol has created makes it very easy to follow so it doesn’t feel like any additional work, but makes you feel truly more at one with nature! Our stay was over New Year’s Eve and we didn’t get cold at all, the wood fired stove kept us very toasty. Lastly, the hosts themselves were awesome, made us feel at home, looked after and welcomed. There are also some great walks around and although WiFi is available, it felt very nice to switch off our phones and just feel fully off-grid. Thank you so much!

We booked to stay as an impulsive escape from hustle and bustle, wanting to unwind and relax. The setting was beautiful, the ducks and chickens running around and being inquisitive made it so enjoyable. Everything we could have needed was there, and Alison provided local info and suggestions which inspired us to take a walk into the surrounding areas and explore. We will definitely be back, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Thank you!

Wow, this must be the best place we have ever stayed at! It was our first experience in a yurt and the yurt was just brilliant and very cozy! Hot tub outside the yurt was just perfect to relax in in the evening, nice and warm for this cold weather and cleaned regularly. Lots of delicious food a little drive away from the site, well worth trying! We were made to feel very comfortable and nothing was too much of an ask from Michelle and Phil. We'll definitely be coming back again!

Amazing way to spend a few days on Gigha. The ger is in a beautiful garden a few minutes from the ferry, right beside Joe and Hannah's shop. They're incredible hosts - very welcoming and helpful. Loved it and hope to return one day!

We had a great time and will definitely be returning again soon! We hiked the west Dorset to three peaks and returned to sit in the hot tub peacefully to recover from our hikes, Everything was perfect! Highly recommended *****

We loved our stay here, really peaceful, lots of wildlife and beautiful countryside. The yurt was lovely and felt homely, the bed was really comfortable too. We didnt want to leave. Kate and Richard were perfect hosts, we found them friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Devon.

We had a wonderful stay this Easter, such s beautiful peaceful location. The Yurt itself has anything one needs, duvet was super cosy a bed comfier than my own. Log burner indeed made it very toasty. It was nice not to have TV and wi-fi - we truly enjoyed what the yurt and location had to offer without regular distractions. Our wee one loved all the animals wandering around. Jon was so kind and helpful we felt like home, thank you!

Pen and Patrick were amazing hosts. So kind and thoughtful and there was a great focus on attention detail. Everything was catered for and it was an excellent stay. They checked in on us throughout our stay and were super responsive to any questions or queries we had. Also they had some great recommendations for things to do in the area and it made it the perfect stay :) x

Wholesome break away in Norfolk staying in the most beautiful little yurt in perfect surroundings. Tranquil and relaxing, we had complete privacy and everything was exactly as stated. We were set back from the world, in a field surrounded by trees. Communication with the owners was fantastic. Both Jonny and Denise were so helpful. If you want a simplistic, chilled vibe, look no further. We lit the fire pit on the last night and did some star gazing. Thank you! We will be back!! X x

We had a great time at Mill Haven Place - we stayed in the sunset yurt with our two kids and it was perfect. The woodburner in the yurt made it really cosy and the covered outdoor kitchenette was great for meal prep. The pitches are well spaced out and the design with the trees makes it feel private yet spacious. We would definitely recommend!

Just back from a lovely weekend. The yurts are beautiful, really comfy and in the most relaxed surroundings. Easy walk into Emsworth which is stunning - like a little piece of Cornwall right on the Sussex Hampshire border. Lots of great places to eat and lovely walks. On Sunday we too the Oyster Boat ‘Terror’ out for a sail, right from the marina the yurts are in, and this was an incredible end to our wonderful weekend! We will be back!

Really lovely place to stay near the Jurassic coast. Yurt/ site was great and as described with everything you needed. Amazing country side location with some lovely walks around and a pub and shop in walking distance. Only a short drive from durdle door and Lulworth cove which is exactly what we wanted. Judy was great and really responsive if we had any questions and there was a book with lots of local recommendations. Definitely somewhere I would recommend if you are looking for a countryside break near the Jurassic coast. Also some really cool Alpacas and Horses :)

It was an absolute pleasure staying in Budhyn Yurt at Woodlands Manor Farm! The yurt itself was even more amazing than we expected – spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and the log burner created such a cozy atmosphere. Having a dedicated private heated bathroom and a fully equipped private kitchen was a real luxury and made our stay so comfortable. We also loved having our own BBQ and bench area, perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The kids were thrilled with the playroom and the heated swimming pool was a fantastic bonus. The outdoor play area was also a big hit! Andy, our host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. His recommendations for local beach walks were brilliant, and we enjoyed exploring the lovely pubs within walking distance. It was a truly relaxing break and provided us with some much-needed quality family time. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend Budhyn Yurt to anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway.

absolutely stunning yurt! so cosy from the second we stepped inside. I booked a few hours before we arrived for a very last minute night away with my little girl and dog. Alistair responded within an hour and we made our way down. so peaceful and the log burner just set it off as it got chilly at night. wood and a barrel left outside if you want to make a fire but we just stayed in the yurt and played board games. would definitely return for the summer.
