Excellent value for money. Enough breakfast provided for our 3 night stay, ample food and pantry items. Anything you need to have the creature comforts of home is at this accommodation. Donna and Peter are incredibly friendly and kind - more than accommodating of any requests. Would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely LOVED staying at Ben & Courtenay’s place. The location is breathtaking and close to so many things. We ended up getting in much later than we expected (flight delays), and they accommodated. The house has everything you need and then some! Definitely pick up food before heading there, the local store can be hit or miss and little pricey.

The house was perfect for our family of eleven. Morning walks to the beach, swimming in the pool, and the sounds of the tropical birds were very enjoyable for someone from Texas. A visit to Korunda Village, Baron Falls, Four Mile Beach, and snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef were easily accessible and enjoyed by all. I would recommend this beautiful home to anybody for a wonderful holiday!

Excellent location, beautiful house , modern interior with all the rainforest charm . Gardens are absolutely stunning , so relaxing this was a great find for a family of 6 people in Cape Tribulation. Great communication with host.

We had a beautiful two days at Mary’s place. It’s an absolutely stunning location, so peaceful and serene. Mary has thought of everything to make sure your stay is relaxing and wonderful. The outdoor kitchen is excellent, and we loved the outdoor living - we spent almost all our time out there on the deck snuggled on the couch or sitting on the grass! We fed the horses and chickens, enjoyed the view, and the lovely food provided by Mary when we arrived, and the peace and quiet. Mary and Lili are wonderful hosts, very kind and friendly, but also mindful of guest privacy. We were lucky enough to have cuddles with Diesel and Molly the dogs! There’s excellent walking trails and parks around the area, and the evenings are stunning looking at the mountains and listening to the animals. The beds are super comfy and the shower is excellent. It was just what we needed to unwind and relax before heading home. We will definitely be back to Mary’s place next time we come to Cairns!

Hibiscus Cottage was a great base for our stay in the Cape Tribulation region, north of the Daintree River. The property is very peaceful and private with beautiful trees and gardens around the house and tropical rainforest all around. Lots of bird song. The cottage is very comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The tropical fruit breakfast provided at Epiphyte B&B was enjoyable and a great way to connect with some fellow travellers each morning. The cottage is in a great location - close to Cow Bay, good restaurants nearby for dinner and a spectacular drive up to Cape Tribulation. Matt was very informative and provided us with great ideas to enjoy our time in the region including forest walks, beach walks, creeks, tours and local restaurants and cafes. Altogether, a great stay in a beautiful and unique region of Australia.

Liz and Steve provide an amazing accommodation, especially the exclusive swimming pool and awesome wooden pavilion with sea view. It’s a great choice of seeking for a quiet and chilling vacation.

Our stay was nice and relaxing , the fire pit while overlooking the mountains was peaceful. I would recommend the property to our friends.

Loved the setting this property was in, very peaceful and remote. Nice to have interaction with the farm animals and enjoyed the use of the table tennis table! Our dog loved the freedom and outdoor space. If you want to get back to nature I would recommend this property.

Het verblijf bij Alec en Helen was geweldig . Wat een ontzettende lieve mensen! We werden zo vriendelijk ontvangen en alles werd goed uitgelegd, Ze hebben ons veel privatie gegeven gedurende ons verblijf. Fijn dat het ontbijt in de koelkast stond die we zelf op onze tijd konden klaar maken. Alec heeft twee avonden een overheerlijke 3 gangen diner voor ons klaargemaakt en Alec en Helen waren een fantastische gastheer en gastvrouw. Het was een belevenis op zich om daar te eten met goede muziek en vuurtje. We kregen goede tips om de dag te besteden en voor onze verdere reis. Alec en Helen, bedankt voor het geweldige verblijf bij jullie in de leuke en gezellige Barn in een prachtige omgeving (de tuin is echt prachtig!) en voor jullie vriendelijkheid! Rik en Ingeborg

We loved our stay at Royston! Raeleen and Peter are amazing hosts and are truly interested in making sure their guests have a great experience. We enjoyed the birds, wildlife and scenery. The sunsets were gorgeous. I wish our stay could have been longer than 4 nights.

The setting of the house is amazing. I got up before 6 each day and watched the sun come up with a beautiful view. Wildlife fantastic especially if you are not Australian and don’t see Wallabies, Kokaburras and large colourful frogs! Pool 🏊 wonderful. Lovely place. Highly recommend.

Megan & Dave were excellent hosts, easy to communicate with, friendly & welcoming. An excellent base to see the sights in the area, & then come home to a warm & cosy house. The fire place works great, maybe, a little too well, it was so warm, the house is well insulated, it was a novelty to have a fire & being in the clouds was great, very atmospheric. I loved ‘Sacred Springs Farmhouse’ it was so peaceful and a beautiful place, both the house & surroundings All in all had a lovely stay, Megan & Dave are a lovely couple 😊

Absolutely loved our stay at Ann's place. Ann and her family were all so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Everything we needed was provided. Ann and her family have such a peaceful slice of paradise. It was the much needed escape from the hustle and bustle that we enjoyed the most. The kids had an amazing time exploring outdoors and just being kids free to roam and enjoy time with the animals. 100% recommend this place and will definitely be back

Beautiful self contained unit in a quiet area.

We had a fabulous stay at Tuscany on Tinaroo. It accommodated our group beautifully and is seriously a slice of paradise on the lake. Highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay with a short walk to the Palm Cove central area with resturants and cafes. Pool was quiet and friendly people around. Bed was super comfortable and everything was clean. Air con worked well in the heat.

Such a special find if you’re looking for the simplicity or camping, peace and beauty of the rainforest. Yurts were well equipped and the meals available were delicious! Beautiful pristine area to explore and daily suggestions were super helpful! My husband and son did the night walk offered and loved learning more about the wildlife. Waking up to Cassowary’s roaming is next level and hope to return one day ~

Love Love Love This was a gorgeous getaway, peaceful and private. Although it was rainy and windy the whole visit we didn’t mind. The outlook is beautiful, the home rustic, and comfortable. It was a great place to unwind and get grounded. (We made rule, no TV) The addition of the heated spa was the perfect solution to cold, raining days. We painted, jigsaws, games, cards and read. We will be back.

What a beautiful place in the middle of forest and orchards right by a peaceful creek where you can swim and relax. The bungalow is spacious and has all the amenities one would need for a comfortable stay with plenty of supplies. Kids loved the place and we sat by the fire at night grilling marshmallows. We enjoyed watching kangaroos and birds. We were lucky to get the whole place for ourselves as the other accommodations had not been booked for the weekend we were there. We planned to visit other places but ended up staying at the property as it was so enjoyable to swim at the swimming hole, BBQ and fire. Kim was an excellent communicator. Highly recommend this experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our frustration was trying to get an answer about was was not included ie shampoo and the essentials pack, which Airbnb indicated in their website was not included. Trying to find out exactly what was included in the essentials was not easy and required phone calls. This may be a minor issue to some but we needed to know so that we knew what to bring. The website for this listing needs to be amended.
