I loved this home. Beds were comfortable and the house was spacious. Despite it being an older home, it was quiet, well taken care of, and a great location. I will make this a regular spot when visiting the area.

This was a great space and good location for a large group. Our group consisted of two couples, a kid, and a dog and we were all well accommodated at the Raven House. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. My favorite part was having a coffee grinder. I brought whole bean coffee but forgot a grinder. The house was stocked with ground coffee, whole bean, and a grinder which made my mistake a non-issue. The house was a little hard to find in the twilight, even with the very clear instructions that were sent. I'd recommend arriving while it's still light out. The area around the house was beautiful and perfect for walking the dog.

This house was the perfect location for what we needed. The pictures don't do it justice. All three beds are comfortable and there is a TV in every room. There is a small fenced in yard ypu bring your pup.

My husband and our two small dogs stayed here overnight on a road trip. It’s a great deal for the price and conveniently close to the freeway. The fenced yard and thoughtful touches in the interior make it perfect for staying with dogs.

Quiet place in the middle of nowhere. Views of the nearby mountains. About a 20 minute drive to Portal. Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. Very windy when we came, so be ready for that. Nearby pond and trees for some bird watching. House was clean and ready for you. Comfy spot for about 4 adults.

Andrea's place was absolutely lovely and perfect for our adventure to the Gila! Their home was comfortable, we loved the front deck and being able to view the panorama outside their home. The kitchen was well equipped with necessary cooking items for preparing our dinner, and they actually had a sharp knife, which is not common at many other places we stayed. Russ was exceptionally responsive; when I messaged him about the propane on the grill running out, he was over with a replacement very quickly. We loved the remote site which was perfect for our needs, and will definitely stay there again should we venture down to the Gila.

What a great off the wall place to visit, see, and spend time at. Beautiful area you’ve created here and we loved the porch. Thank goodness for the working WiFi so I could stay connected for work.

This is an extraordinary property. The Chauffeur's residence is roomy and quiet with a big kitchen and table for dining. The ranch location is an easy drive from Silver City and even closer to the Faywood Hot Springs. But, the thing that really sets this place apart for us is the enormous land holdings that are accessible to folks staying at the ranch (a high clearance vehicle is needed to visit these areas). We spent a day exploring the ranch with our dogs. It was a wonderful way to decompress, spend time with friends (who were also staying at the ranch) and take in the incredible vistas and landscape. Truly extraordinary. Would love to come back.

Our three-generation family occupied both Gatehouse and Bunkhouse dwellings, where we enjoyed Christmas cheer and feasting. Our thoughtful hosts made our stay uber-comfortable, with well-equipped kitchens, comfy bedding, good hot showers, great spaces to gather--everything as described. But most memorable and utterly out of the ordinary was Alex's guided tour of the quarters still remaining on the storied historic L.C. Ranch. Some buildings dating to the early 1800s, with furnishings lovingly assembled over decades by the family of the current stewards (and much left in place from previous centuries), made for a great place to unwind and explore the astonishing surroundings. Gila Cliff Dwellings and Catwalk, like this precious time capsule, are not to be missed!

The walled in yard was great for the dogs. Once the outside maintenance is complete that yard will be such a great little oasis. Fairly easy walk to downtown area. Nice and quiet area. Would stay here again.

This place was a haven in a very hard time. Unfortunately we had to come for a funeral on a town a grew up in but hadn’t been back to in 10 years. It was peaceful, beautiful and Carmen was more than accommodating. It was everything we needed during this time and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Gene was so nice to greet us out at the entrance on his ATV. Gorgeous drive from I-10 - but don't be like us and trust online Maps with the address. Instead, take a screenshot of Lynn's directions on the confirmation page (scroll down on a phone). Then the place is easy to find!

What a great space. Open, spacious, and clean. The kitchen is amazing and so well stocked. We ate all our meals there. It’s in an incredible natural setting; it was so nice to sit outside and gaze at the stars. Amanda was super responsive and helpful, quickly addressing the small extra needs that we had. My son and I spent several days birding in Rodeo, NM and Portal, Arizona. House was a perfect location and provided a nice, cool escape from midday sun! The area truly is a birder’s paradise and as a bonus, we saw a mountain lion in one of the nearby campgrounds. Our only disappointment was we didn’t see a rattlesnake or tarantula! We did see a baby bull snake, though. Had a great time.

We loved staying here! In fact, we added an additional night to enjoy more of what the area had to offer. We explored art galleries, museums, restaurants, and the Catwalk, and our Airbnb was perhaps, the star of the show. In terms of design, it was a treat: the unusual kitchen with long bar, the big shower space, the urinal in the bathroom (reminiscent of a locker room from the space's past), all really cool and unique, giving this Airbnb a special reason to come visit. The patio was large and well-appointed with amazing fire pit (where did you guys find that?), plenty of seating, and excellent BBQ area. The bed was very comfortable which is important to us. To top it off, Rebecca had a beautiful box of cupcakes for us upon arrival which was a real treat...yum! Thanks so much for sharing this super cool space; we're looking forward to returning soon!

Super cute casita that’s close to downtown! Place has everything you need to make meals but it’s also close to several good restaurants. Very convenient for visiting downtown as well.
