A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The Post Box - Cosy tiny house

A lovely little accommodation, comfortable and cosy with a country cottage garden and a beautiful view of the fell beyond. It's located in the village of Allithwaite, just 1.5 miles from the picturesque Cartmel, famous for its races and wonderful pubs, and restaurants. There is a driveway for easy parking. The rear garden, shared with the main house, has comfortable furniture. The single owner has the main house, though she is often away. Local amenities include a corner shop and a pub.

Looking for a romantic getaway or thinking of exploring South Lake District, or maybe getting ready for a day out at Cartmel Races? Our Garden Apartment will provide you with a great base and a lovely place to relax. With green garden and views over the bay you can enjoy your time off. The apartment provides self-catering and is perfectly suited for a couple, but it will also accommodate parents with a small child. Guests of the garden apartment have use of the front garden/patio.

We are just far enough from the villiage centre to be peaceful and relaxing. Tea and coffee is provided together with a welcoming drink. We also provide a free permit for on street Parking just outside the front door.

Close to Lake Windermere, the whole of The Lake District National Park is yours to discover. Children will adore the superb play park just across the lane and 'grown ups' may wish to celebrate a really special occasion together and try out the wood fired pizza oven and BBQ. Dogs are welcome and will be safe in the garden which is totally enclosed.

Close to all the amenities of Cartmel and it’s popular racecourse and Grange-over-Sands, with a short drive to Windermere and Coniston. Get a real sense of the beautiful South Lakes area, with its rolling countryside, hilltop view points and lots of woodland and coastal walks on the doorstep.

Two double bedroom riverside cottage in the village of Cark In Cartmel, ideal if you are visiting Cartmel for its world renown restaurants such as L'Enclume or Rogan & Co, attending Cartmel races or visiting the South Lakes area for the lovely walks. There are many local pubs to enjoy especially a short walk away in Cartmel, there is parking outside the cottage for two cars.
