Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Höhle. Manuel war ein super Gastgeber. Wir sind abends mit ihm zu einem Aussichtspunkt gefahren und bekamen sogar noch eine Führung durch das kleine Museum vor Ort. Es war schon ein besonderes Erlebnis!

I had a wonderful stay at Cueva Oliva. The hosts were extremely helpful and were quick to respond to my issues - including a rental car problem that I personally could not address due to my phone SIM being unable to call the service number. I was worried that it would be hard to find, but for once, google maps will get you to within 10 meters of the cave (one more driveway after it tells you that you are there). The kitchen had everything you might need, and the space heaters took the chill and dampness out of the cave. The patio furniture has been significantly upgraded since the photos were taken: Table and chairs, lounge chairs, hammock. As this is a cave, the ceiling heights, and door opening heights are variable. I am 5' 9" and had to mind the bathroom door opening carefully. The ceiling slopes downward toward the kitchen sink. I felt my hair contacting the ceiling. The shorter you are, the happier you will be with the ceiling heights. All in all- a unique and wonderful experience

By far the most fantastic place where we’ve stayed. It’s a bit of a walk from the city centre, up the hill, and the reward is a very nice cave, cosy and with everything you need, and the best view of the Alhambra and the city ever. Absolutely recommended!

Lugar perfecto si deseas tranquilidad, desconexión y vistas privilegiadas. Recomendado la experiencia de alojarte en una cueva. Ideal tanto para escapada como un retiro de relax. Buen alojamiento, limpio y acogedor. Incluye recomendaciones por parte del anfitrión de lugares que visitar.

La estancia en la casa de Maria Jose ha sido espectacular, las fotos son totalmente como la casa. Es un lugar idóneo para estar tranquilo a parte de poder visitar todo, a parte Maria Jose está siempre atenta a cualquier cosa que necesites o quieras visitar. Sin duda repetiremos más días porque la estancia se nos hizo muy corta.

We had an incredible stay. We weren’t able to stay in the cave we had originally booked, so Carlos upgraded us to an even bigger and more beautiful cave and it completely exceeded expectation. The views from the terrace were stunning, the log fire was cosy, all the facilities and appliances were high quality and new, and the entire property was so cleverly laid out. A really special way to spend New Year.

Fue una experiencia excepcional alojarnos en esta cueva única durante el mes de octubre. Dentro, la temperatura era tan agradable que dormíamos tapados, a pesar del calor que hacía en el exterior. El lugar está hermosamente decorado, como se muestra en las imágenes, con muchos detalles cuidadosos y una generosa cesta de bienvenida con café y otros productos. Dormir en una casa cueva como esta es una experiencia única, ya que dentro se está a una temperatura perfecta y no hay nada de ruido ni luz, por lo que se duerme de maravilla. El pueblo cuenta con muchas casas-cueva y es un placer pasear por sus calles. Además, vale la pena destacar que en el mismo pueblo se puede disfrutar de una excelente comida y bebida a precios muy razonables. Las camas eran muy cómodas, el baño y la cocina estaban recientemente reformados con muy buen gusto. La cocina estaba bien equipada. Se puede aparcar dentro del patio privado de la casa, aunque tienes que bajar por una pequeña colina.

Fantastic place to relax. An interesting location with a great little museum about the caves as well. You do get noise from the nearby highway when you're outside, but that didn't really disturb us (and you can't hear it in the caves). Manuel and his colleagues were excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à la Cueva ! Le logement est calme et la piscine magnifique. Excellent emplacement pour visiter la région. Notre hôte a été très serviable.

Would highly recommend this property ,from the minute arriving until leaving everything was perfect .Our host greeted us,with a bottle of home made wine and then showed us to the house to which I must say was beyond my expectations.The property was very homely and extremley clean . We had the most amazing view from our patio area of the Sieera Nevada mountains . Just to say if you want a relXing time with great hosts then this is the place

Un lugar en el que he podido relajarme como quería, lejos del ruido, pero cerca de comercios, restaurantes, etc. La cueva es muy bonita y estaba muy limpia. José ha sido en todo momento superamable y nos ha hecho varias recomendaciones de visitas por la zona. Lo recomiendo totalmente :). Gracias por todo, José. ¡Volveremos!

We loved our stay at Cuevas la Chumbera. While we used the accommodation as a home base to visit many areas outside of Benalua, the time we had at our accommodation was wonderful and will provide our family with happy memories of our travel to Spain. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay.
