We had a lovely stay with Colette in one of her lodges recently. The place was cosy, warm and felt very homely. Colette came to meet us when we arrived as I had said our little boy was afraid of dogs. She even left us some of her own hens eggs which were delicious for breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to going back.

The place was spotless. The home had plenty of room and bathrooms. Martha the care taker went out of her way to help us in every way. The home was centrally located for us to do day trips every day.

Lisanne ist eine nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin, die Abwicklung war völlig problemlos. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Haus ist Teil einer Wohnanlage die etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, aber sehr ruhig und schön gelegen. Es sind nur wenige Meter bis zum Strand.

we had a great stay there, the views are amazing. it is located in a perfect location and a bar and a shop across the road was ideal for us. The house wad spotless and a full kitchen if you wanted to make meals and washing machine there aswell if needed. We would go back in a heartbeat, thanks again Kathleen

We had a great stay at Michelle’s, she was more than welcoming and gave us some local recommendations for food. We only stayed one night, but wish we stayed longer. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking and Michelle had the basics to make a tea and coffee which doesn’t go unnoticed. Perfect place to stay !

We had a fabulous week at Colm's cabin with our 2 boys and our dog. The surroundings of Lough Derg were absolutely amazing and it really felt like a different world! The cabin was spotless with a lovely decking to sit out on to admire the surroundings. We had our own inflatable kayak and helpfully were offered the use of Colm's 2 canoes so we got great enjoyment out of them on the Lake. Larkins is a 5 minute drive and was really fabulous for food and the small playground near it helped with entertainment for the boys. Colm was a great host and so helpful and welcoming 😊 We will definitely be back!

Que dire de ce logement et moment incroyable ! Alan, et ses parents sont un hôte très avenant et vraiment sympathique, et l'endroit où se trouve le gîte est quasi surnaturel, où la nature est omniprésente, luxuriante. On peut profiter pleinement de ces ballades en pleine nature au long de la rivière, avec des paysages à couper le souffle ! Nous avons pu assister à un coucher de soleil magnifique orchestré par le ballet des hirondelles, puis profiter par la suite de l'appartement qui est si cosi et bien équipé, bref, zéro défaut, nous y reviendrons certainement ! Thank you Riana for 5 wonderful nights at the beautiful Heron Cottage. We were absolutyely thrilled with everything. It was the most exquisite place to stay for a short break with my 90 year old mother, immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable. We loved the gorgeous decor and it was equipped with everything you could wish for. Everything is so easy to work, with super instructions readily available. The private steps to the beach make for a magical journey over to the harbour where we feasted on fish and chips and the outdoor seating was just perfect to relax with a glass of wine. The location is superb for touring around. We were blown away by the beauty of the place and it's fascinating history. Heron cottage is a very special place and Riana is the most welcoming, most generous host as was her lovely daughter who greeted us on arrival. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy a holiday here. To be honest we didn't want to leave and we hope to return.
