We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

We booked this place for our anniversary weekend and it was nothing but amazing. The views are incredible & we got to see so much wildlife during our stay. The inside of the house feels like home. It is so beautifully decorated and cozy. We cannot wait to come back and have another peaceful, relaxing weekend.

I had an incredible stay at this cabin! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the breathtaking views – they were absolutely stunning. The interior was beautifully decorated and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe. The space was immaculate, and it really felt like a home away from home. The beds were super comfy, everything exceeded expectations. On top of all that, the host was fantastic – super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be returning!

Amazing! We actually we upgraded from The Birch to The Juniper at last minute. Here is why: there is a beautiful family of foxes including babies near the Birch cabin. We all were in agreeance to keep wild animals wild & also try to reduce stress on the mom. We happily agreed with Chuck on this perspective and we're pleasantly surprised to be offered an upgrade. The property is beautiful. We could see both front & back bays from our cabin. We borrowed a canoe and took off for the afternoon. We walked up the hydro line path. We sat on the porch and dock and just listened to nature. The cabin had everything. Plenty of HOT water with great pressure for showers. Windows that open with screens for air flow. We didn't sleep in the loft but did discuss how lovely a July eve would be with the top windows open letting the wind rip across loft. Everything you need in the kitchen to make a decent meal. Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Location was perfect for a weekend away! Cottage was stunning, extremely clean and organized the pictures don’t do it justice. The linens, beds, furniture, hottub, sauna, everything was well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked of every appliance and kitten tool we may need during our stay. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb. We had the most relaxing weekend ever!

Our stay at Prunella #4 was nothing short of outstanding. The cabin was everything as advertised and more, so very cozy and in immaculate shape. We got to enjoy the lake, getting to use both one of the canoes and the kayaks to go on the lake. Walking the trails was incredibly peaceful, we even managed to see a pair of beautiful whitetail deer on our walk! It was also a pleasant surprise to get to meet Nancy and Catherine while we were exploring the property, who were there doing some work on the new 3 cabins they've recently built! They were both incredibly friendly and welcoming, and took time away from what they were doing to have a conversation with us about the origin of this incredible space they've built. I cannot even put into words what a relaxing weekend this was for my partner and I. Our experience was magical, and plan to return very soon! Thanks again Nancy and Catherine!

I had a great time staying here and have already looked at when I can come back. It was beautiful and so peaceful. The view was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The bed was super comfortable as well. The door was a little difficult to get into the first time but he gave instructions on how to get in another way. Loved the little touches like leaving a treat for my dog and also having extra dog toys.

Mike & Rosa offer a serene place in the middle of nature with beautiful views and luxurious amenities in and around the cabin. We have had the pleasure of staying here for two nights and we loved every second of it. Mike and Rosa were very responsive and offered great advice on what to do in the area and we're even able to accommodate any special wishes. Canoeing on the Semi-private lake was great fun and lighting a camp fire in the evenings just completed the experience. We loved it here and are already looking forward to visiting again at some point in the future.

We had a lovely girls' trip at this beautiful cottage! The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The views were absolutely wonderful, and we loved taking in the scenery throughout our stay. The nearby hiking trails were a great bonus—perfect for getting outside and exploring the area. My dog also had a wonderful time! It was the perfect retreat, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This place exceeded all our expectations. The host is phenomenal. His responses were always fast, extremely friendly and understanding. He was very accommodating with our date changes (due to a military move) and made our process super easy. The place is stunning. Even better than the pictures. It’s open, spacious, with lots of modern, high end touches. I have already been recommending this place to all my friends. It’s a must stay- in the winter or summer. My partner and I really enjoyed our weekend at Etienne’s cottage. The island was so interesting to explore and we hiked many trails. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a cosy weekend! We didn’t realize when booking that the main house was only a few hundred feet from the cottage but we still had privacy. In the summer, if other people rented the second cottage and you were all outside I do think that privacy would go down. Otherwise, we loved all of it and would highly recommend!!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!

We loved our stay at Hailee’s cabin! The location was remote, peaceful, clean, and well decorated, exactly as described. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive at all times. The river is too low for swimming, probably due to lack of rain this season. We were there to enjoy the crisp fall weather and fire place, so it wasn’t an issue for us, just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a place to swim every day in the summer. Overall, a great place to stay and a wonderful change of pace being off the grid!

We had the perfect stay while at “Rowe’s Cabin” starting the new year in a quiet and peaceful setting. The hosts shared the story of the land and the cabin, including its history, adding to the experience and atmosphere for us that we really valued. They recommended going to Barron Canyon and we made sure to make a stop on our way out and it was the perfect ending to or trip, we were the only ones on the trail making it so much more whimsical. We snowshoed around the cabin and quietly sat in the window, playing uno, in the evening watching deer and wildlife coming up to the cabin for an hour or two. It had snowed the day we got there so it felt extra disconnected and relaxing. The hosts made sure we felt comfortable and safe in the cabin, we often are out in the woods during all times of the year and the hosts make this cabin experience in the woods fun and within reach to anyone new to the being in the woods or have more experience in the woods.

We had a really lovely stay at Sylvie’s cottage! Everything was exactly as described and matched the photos. The interior and exterior were beautifully designed—stylish, cozy, and well thought out. The cottage had everything we needed: a warm indoor fireplace, hot water, heating, and a fully equipped kitchen. The surroundings were just as impressive, with stairs leading down to a peaceful and scenic lakefront. We had a few questions about the firewood, and Sylvie responded quickly and helpfully. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was charmingly decorated, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed having access to the kayaks. Very close to Parc Regional Morrissette which has a stunning view! Definitely recommend this place!

We had a great stay at Quianna's cozy and warm little cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept. She informed about the shops and restaurants nearby and that they shutdown early so we could plan accordingly. Best place to stay while you explore the Algonquin park highway 60 corridor.

Jane and Randy were welcoming hosts. They quickly explained how things worked, like the toilet and steps to the upstairs. They were friendly, easy going and respected our privacy. Beautiful setting. Wild animals and birds could be heard under the starry night sky, next to a well prepared bonfire. Fun experience. Good people.

The cabin was the perfect home away from home. Well thought out place and supplied with everything we needed. Buy a few groceries to prepare in the beautiful kitchen and you dont need to leave once you get there. Nice and quiet, fairly secluded, surrounded by trees and creeks to walk to and enjoy nature. Returning to the house for the spa like shower, sauna and soaker tub made our stay most relaxing. Natasha was great to communicate with and super helpful with anything we needed to know ahead of time. We would definitely stay again.

The Barndo is a true gem! If you like what you see on the listing you won't be disappointed. The kitchen is fully equipped and totally functional, the wood stove and sauna are both well maintained, the bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom, office space and living area are exactly what you need them to be. The space is clean, charming, nicely decorated and I appreciated the attention to detail and quality throughout. Cathy seems to have thought of everything, and has created an easy, peaceful space that makes for a perfectly comfortable stay. We're already planning our next trip!

This is a wonderful and cozy cabin experience for a group of 4. The place has a lovely history and is preserved that way with attention to aesthetics that take you back in time. Debbi is a warm host and although we didn’t get to meet in person she was quick to respond and provided all the necessary details during our stay. Good parking space, private location and beautiful nursery and nature around the property. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Algonquin provincial park during the fall season.
