Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Hidden Bay is aptly named as it is nestled in a water lily-filled bay with a beautiful west-facing island view. It feels private without being completely secluded. The cabin itself is small & manageable and the cathedral ceiling, open floor plan, & numerous windows give it a light, open feel. My family originally stayed at Hidden Bay as renters and we liked it so much we bought it & kept the name! Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis on Connor’s Lake. 420 acre lake with excellent fishing. Quiet, beautiful lake front with gorgeous sunrises. Central air. 2 BR, one bath, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, gas grill. 2 full bedrooms each with a queen size bed. 2 fold out futons in living room. Fire pit and firewood. 1/2 mile from UTV, snowmobile and hiking. Cocktail lounge on the lake. 2 restaurants nearby. No smoking/ pets. Newly remodeled guest house with bar, TV, futon.

Seeley Oaks A-Frame | Secluded Retreat on 40 Acres

This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. We fell in love with Hayward for the same reason so many people do: the lakes, the quiet, the slower pace, and how easy it is to feel connected to nature. The Cabin for Two sits at the end of a private road on a small wilderness lake, surrounded by county forest. Wildlife is part of daily life here. Loons call across the water, swans and other waterfowl pass through, and deer regularly move through the yard. In the warmer months, bears occasionally travel through the area.

Copper Falls Cabin sits on 80 acres directly adjacent to Copper Falls State Park near Mellen, WI. The renovated rural farmhouse features 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Copper Falls State Park is right out your door, and places like Bayfield and the Apostle Islands National lakeshore are within an hour’s drive. This is your perfect basecamp to explore the South Shore of Lake Superior in both Wisconsin and the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

River Cabin

Built in 2022/2023 this cabin is located right on the Manitowish River with 750 ft of frontage right off Highway 51 about 3 miles south of Mercer and 7 miles north of Manitowish Waters. The Manitowish River runs into the Bear River which is why the resort is named Twin Rivers Resort. We are located right by the snowmobile, UTV/ATV and hiking/biking trails. You can easily visit small local towns with bars, restaurants and shopping.
