Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. It is private, but is located to many places that are just a scenic drive away. There is fishing and kayaking at Cloe or Hemlock Lake and stream fishing just down the road. Gamelands are close for hunting and there is boating at Yellow Creek State Park or Curwensville Lake. Punxsutawney is a 15 minute drive and Indiana and Dubois are 40. If you would like to venture further there is State College, Pittsburgh, and Benezette. Come stay!!

As you step out the front door, you while find a cobblestone road that leads to Jimmy Stewart's home. This home is on a quiet street with a relaxing porch to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening to wind down. Planning a surprise? Want some extra touches for your stay? Balloons? Flowers? Relax with the whole family at this peaceful wooded retreat! This spacious 2-story 3-bedroom house is on a quiet lane with plenty of space from our neighbors. If you love seeing wildlife, deer and turkeys are a regular sight as well as the occasional fox and black bear. If you have pets, there is plenty of space for them to run around! Well-stocked kitchen! Pets and larger groups are welcome! There is a $10/guest/day charge after the first 2 guests and the pet fee is $25 (flat rate).

Riverfront - Whittled Duck River Camp

The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

The Blue Cottage

Remodeled 2nd floor of Country Cottage on the edge of town. Private entrance, 1 bedroom w/ Queen bed, eat in kitchen, bathroom, livingroom and use of outdoor firepit. Walking distance to Ghost Town Trail, Memorial Park, Ebensburg town square, community swimming pool, Legends Gym, Nathan's Divide Water Shed and Lake Rowena Park. Area colleges include, Saint Francis Univ, Mount Aloysius College, Univ of Pittsburgh Johnstown, Indiana Univ of Pa, Penn State Univ, and Penn State Altoona.

Guest House

The guest house is a 20 x 16 ft. studio which sits on 115 acres of woods and fields with great views just outside Brookville. It is approximately 20 yards from the main house and equipped with a queen bed, a sofa, full bath with walk in shower, and small refrigerator, toaster oven, microvave, and TV. The property has multiple walking trails and is situated approximately 5 miles from Route 80. It is also close to Cook's Forest, the Clarion River, and Punxsutawney.

Located in quiet borough of Glen Campbell only 20 minutes from Punxsutauney and 45 min from Indiana, Dubois and Clearfield. This home is great for the larger group or family. Small home renovations in progress that do not effect the stay.

We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. It's the perfect cozy and welcoming space to rest and relax whether traveling for work, visiting family, or exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
