What a wonderful & beautiful property! There is so much to explore inside and out with fun surprises around every corner. More than enough room to find your own space when you want, and fantastic gathering spaces for the whole group. There is plenty to do no matter what weather. Saying the kitchen is ready for anything is an understatement, every utensil, appliance, and most spices you would need to cook anything are there! We did feel the cleaning fee was steep, but the place was immaculate. Not a spot of dust or dirt anywhere. Hearing the swans call to each other at night and in the early morning was a treat most people never experience. We loved our stay and hope to return again soon!

The home met our groups expectations. We have been deer hunting in the Bark River area for over 30 years and had an unexpected issue arise late in the summer where our normal camp lodging was not able to be utilized this year, so we explored other options and made a great choice. Shelly's home was located close to the property we hunt, so it was great as far as location and provided our group of 6 the room and amenities we needed. No issues with the communication, check-in, having what we needed, etc., so overall we were very happy with the accommodations.

We had a great stay at Bonnie's duplex. It's easy to find with plenty of parking. Bonnie met us promptly on check in and we had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of space for the two of us. Would definitely recommend!

Brought my 1 1/2 year old lab and he had the time of his life running around the pond with us, great recommendations for food, 1 1/2 from Green Bay, 30 minutes from marinette, had a great time in the hot tub, can’t wait to come back

It was an amazing experience! The location for this camper is perfect. Stunning and peaceful view of the lakes with beautiful sunsets. On the other side is a quiet forest. There are all the necessary things for life: kayaks, a fireplace with firewood and a great kitchen with a grill outside. Wonderful, very friendly and helpful hosts and unforgettable nature of Northern Michigan is very close. We had a great time!

We had a really nice time at this place. We had some trouble getting the shower to work (there was no plumbing issue — it just turned out that hot is cold and cold is hot), and Nicole responded right away to make sure we were all set. Stars were delightful at night! Overall, it was a great stay and exactly what we’d hoped. On an unrelated note: while you’re here, I highly recommend a visit to The Port Bar & Family Restaurant — a lovely local spot!

Nice location, close to Casino in Bark River and Escanaba, near golf course. House has a lot of room. Can hear street noise some so if a light sleeper I would bring earplugs or have white noise app.

We love this area and The Duck Inn by the Bay has a perfect location. We were blessed with beautiful weather and were able to kayak,swim and just sit on the beach and enjoy the view. Laurie and Jeff are gracious hosts, the space was perfect and great communication! We will be back and would recommend The Duck Inn to anyone looking for a getaway in this peaceful part on Michigan's Upper Peninsula!!
