We hebben een geweldig mooie tijd gehad. De eigenaren waren ontzettend aardig. De accommodatie is zoals omschreven staat.

Albana is a really excellent host. She is exceptionally friendly and helpful. She welcomed us with coffee and sweet treats, and was responsive when we had questions, and gave us tips about the local area. She had even made some jam for us, which we enjoyed for breakfast. The apartment is great - exactly as described, with a beautiful courtyard under a grapevine that is nice to sit and read. It is in the perfect location to explore the old town. Fantastic value for money. We will definitely stay with Albana again if we visit Gyrokaster in future.

A perfect place - especialy for traditional, rural style lovers. Quiet and nice. The beds are very clean and comfortable. The way to the beach is rather difficult to walk. Theodora is very kind and helpful. When she is not around, her neighbours Felleza and Mili care for the place and are willing to help.

Heel prettig verblijf gehad! Het huisje ligt perfect in het oude centrum vlakbij alle leuke restaurants en barretjes! Goed beloopbaar en van alles te zien! Zeker een aanrader, ik zou er zo nog een keer heen gaan!

Don't think about it. Just book this place now! This was exactly the kind of place I was looking for. I was staying in Sarande at a hotel prior to booking this place. The hotel was great but I wanted something closer to the REAL Albania. I found it here. I was actually surprised that I found this place on Airbnb. It was old school Airbnb...where someone opens up their home to you and you are able to experience the hospitality of the host or hostess. It's not your typical Airbnb place either. This is a typical family farm that is found in so many places in eastern Europe. It is not the kind of farm you would find in Canada or the US that are hundred of acres in size. The home is situated on about 0.5 acres or 0.2 hectares of land surrounded by the typical rock walls you find surrounding many homes in Albania. What kind of animals do you find here? Chickens, sheep, goats, rabbits and even ducks. Yes, there is a garden for vegetables and grape vines throughout the property. Please don't think this a petting zoo farm... this is a working family farm that provides food for the family and you if you stay here. It is a modest home that has been in the family for many years, it is on a plot of land that has provided the food and shelter for the family for countless generations. I have nothing but enormous respect for the hostess and her family. It was the kind of home that my parents grew up in Ukraine. This is what attracted me to this place. These people are salt of the earth. Humble, happy and proud. Respect. I could write a short book about my stay here. To sum up, it was wonderful. I have stayed at my fair share of Airbnb places, but this is my most favorite place ever. I did not want to leave and I do plan to return and stay much longer than the ~10 days I was there. What are the highlights of my visit? 1. The hostess Alexandra and her dear mother. Real people. 2. Coffee with fresh goat milk every morning. Yes, it's that good. 3. The sunrise in the valley. Breathtaking. 4. The amazing hikes up the mountain and in through the valley. There are so many ruins and hidden cool places to discover. 5. Taking the goats and sheep grazing in the morning. Yes I did that!!! 6. I'm not going to give it all away...book this place and I'll let you discover all the wonderful things here on your own. Alexandra and her mother don't speak English. This was not a problem at all. I downloaded the microsoft translator to my phone. It allows two people to communicate back and forth at the push of a button. It made communicating with the hostess very easy. I had many wonderful conversations with Alexandra and her dear mother many times using this translator. So you will be just fine. Look... this is a farm. It smells like a farm where the animals live and it has bugs...get over it. If you are looking for Disney World or the Ritz Carlton...look somewhere else. This place is perfect the way it is and I will be returning in the near future. The apartment is clean and well equipped. The internet works great. My cell phone worked just fine. It has a great stove for cooking and a washing machine to wash your clothes. It has a TV, but why would you watch TV when you are in such a wonderful environment to explore? There are places to buy groceries to cook food...OR...you can arrange with Alexandra to prepare meals for you each day. That is what I did. Breakfast and dinner. So I didn't have to cook or buy anything extra to survive. It's up to you. I chose to eat home cooked food from the farm...how can you beat that??? There is so much more to say...but... Don't think about it. Just book this place now!

Ci ha accolto la madre di Anna che anche non parlando la nostra lingua è stata super carina e disponibile in tutto. È stato come essere a casa di nonna. Ci sono 3 bagni e la cucina molto grande per mangiare tutti insieme. Giardino accogliente con tanti gattini. Posizione top per spostarsi nella regione di himare (la più bella per spiagge). Lontano da caos e movida perfetta per chi vuole una location rilassata e carina. Ristoranti molto buoni nei dintorni.

Was a great village of true albania.Very quiet place.Only thing is that you have to drive 10km without asphalt which was ok for me

Super Unterkunft. Sieht genau so aus woe auf den Bildern und ist sehr gemütlich. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Unschön sind die Baustellen rund um die Siedlung, aber der Lärm hat sich echt in Grenzen gehalten. Kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

A Perfect Nature Escape with Private Pool I recently had the pleasure of staying at this villa, and it was an absolute dream! Tucked away in nature, this property is a hidden gem for anyone seeking tranquility, comfort, and a stunning natural setting. The villa itself is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern yet cozy touch. The large windows offer breathtaking views of the surrounding greenery, and the open-plan layout makes it feel light and airy. Every room feels connected to nature, and you really get the sense of being in a secluded paradise. The private pool is the highlight! Perfectly maintained and surrounded by trees, it’s the ideal spot for a refreshing swim or just lounging by the water. We spent hours there, soaking in the peaceful environment. There’s also a lovely outdoor seating area where we enjoyed meals, with the sounds of nature all around.

My stay at Diamond in Saranda was nothing short of incredible! From the moment I arrived, Lefteris, the host, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly welcoming, always available for any questions, and provided fantastic recommendations to make the most of my time in Saranda. The apartment itself is a gem! It’s impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Do yourself a favour and visit Diamond apartment.

Janula ist eine sehr nette und angenehme Gastgeberin, die stets erreichbar ist und Ratschläge und Empfehlungen gibt. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Apartment-Block und ideal zum Erkunden der Umgebung. Die Tiefgarage ist ein absoluter Pluspunkt! Die Wohnung ist ist noch neu, einfach eingerichtet und hat im Grunde alles, was man braucht (v. a. Klimaanlage in beiden Räumen), ein paar weitere Ablagemöglichkeiten (Schränke) wären schön. Der Balkon (etwas Meerblick) ist auf der Seite des Hauses gelegen. Auf der Terrasse steht der Pool von 8 bis 18 Uhr zur Verfügung, Liegen und Schirme stehen bereit. Den Strand (mit Liegen und Schirmen zum Mieten) erreicht man in 2-3 Minuten. Direkt an der Poolterrasse befindet sich ein Restaurant, an der Straßenseite des Hauses noch ein paar kleine Bars, wo man von morgens bis abends etwas zu Essen oder zu Trinken bekommt. Promenade, Restaurants, Bars und der Stadtmarkt sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

this unit had a wonderful set up with a small pool and spa. Short walk to the beach, really relaxing and plenty of room for all of us. Teuta was very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this unit to anyone traveling here.

Das Appartment ist wirklich eine Perle in Saranda. Herrlicher Meerblick mit eigenem Strand, Pool und Liegemöglichkeiten sowie Strandbar auf dem Gelände. Problemloser Check-In mit Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort. Hochwertige Ausstattung und gute Nachbarschaft mit Bäckerei und Restaurants vor der Tür. Hervorragende Kommunikation und rundum Sorglos-Paket vor Ort, so dass man sich gleich wie zu Hause fühlt.

Le logement est idéal pour pour visiter la Saranda. La ville étant compliqué au niveau du stationnements, la place de parking proposée est vraiment très pratique. La descente pour accéder à l'immeuble est impressionnante cependant. L'hôte a été très accueillant et pro actif. La résidence propose une piscine à débordement d'eau salée vraiment très sympa avec vue sur la mer pour faire vos plus belles photos insta ! Je recommande vivement !

The host was very nice and let us know of local cultural events happening that we could attend. The space was very nice and exactly as listed. The host also allowed us to stay for an additional couple hours after check out, allowing us to further experience the city. The only downfall was that the listed parking spot was actually public street parking. While we found a spot right outside the apartment right away, I could see this being a problem during a busier time of the year. Overall, we could not have asked for a more helpful and flexible host!

Very nice apartment with a great host who helped us a lot when we had car trouble

Our driver from Tirana got lost but the host helped him find his way on the phone and walked to the town square to meet us AND and carried my bag the whole way back. Our room was GORGEOUS in an absolutely immaculate building. Our host was available every morning at breakfast with a chat and local tips. The rooms were super tidy and comfortable. Honestly I can’t say enough about this place and these people. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else if we get to come back to Gjirokaster. L❤️VE this place!!!
