We wanted to share this property and all its magic with anyone who genuinely appreciates the outdoors. The Gumbo Getaway is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin with a king bed and a full sofa sleeper in the living room. Our cabin was built in 2021. We welcome our guests to come enjoy our cozy spot in the hill country with the convenience of staying only 15 mins from Main Street in Fredericksburg. **Guests are permitted to walk the road starting at the cattle guard entrance and ending at The Lagniappe Lodge. (The LL has a big rock sign out front.) Do not walk past the Lagniappe Lodge.**

This new guesthouse is the perfect spot to wind down from city life. View wildlife from the spacious covered porch or through large, sliding-glass doors. Sit out under the stars and enjoy a fire in the firepit or grill in the evenings on the provided gas grill. Light breakfast items are provided along with coffee and tea. Due to the recent coronavirus restrictions, and to increase your protection, we are thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting surfaces between guests.
