Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She was able to offer a little bit of flexibility that we needed, which was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and take advantage of some of the nature hikes that lead to waterfalls in addition to spending time with our daughter in Blacksburg.

Our two night stay here to visit my son at VT for Easter weekend was perfect. The house was spotless and very comfortable. It was nice to stay in a home versus a hotel and not have to eat out for every meal. Having a fully stocked kitchen made preparing Easter dinner easy. Additionally, my cockapoo felt right at home and we did not have to worry about him disturbing anyone while we were away from the house. The location was great. My husband and I especially enjoyed the ability to walk to Moon Hollow Brewery.

The house and farm were absolutely beautiful! We loved the location as it was easy to get to the main roads, yet felt like you were away from everything. The house was very comfortable and had many nice touches, including some delicious beef jerky from the farm! Tom and Madeline were super friendly and were very responsive when the WiFi needed to be reset. It was cool to hear some of the history of the farm too. And our dog loved sitting on the porch watching the cows and all the activity. And as a bonus, he got to play with their dogs too! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay!! We will definitely be back again. Thanks for everything.

We came to Blacksburg for a football game and the house was about a 22 minute drive from campus. We had a great stay and Sean was an excellent host! The house was clean and organized-would definitely stay again. You will need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash/soap. Other than that the house had plenty of towels, wash cloths, and kitchen supplies.

My wife and I were in town for the Hokies game and were looking for something different than the typical hotel. This checked every box - we had the best relaxing getaway at Sorta Resorta. It was peaceful, private and beautiful. Mary Ann was super accommodating and could have not been any nicer. We cannot wait to go back.

Giulia has a very nice apartment that was clean with plenty of room. Although close to town, there is a remote feel as the house is surrounded by woods - a definite plus for me.

Brooke was quick to respond, easy check in . We booked last minute with no issues. Sam the property manager was great with suggestions for places to visit. This cabin is warm and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend staying here.

The highlight of this stay was the gorgeous beaverdam waterfall, but the cottage is also lovely - very charming and comfortable. You can tell that Beau has put a lot of thought into making the property welcoming, and when I had an issue with the wifi router, he and Leah were very quick to address the issue, even though it was late in the evening. My dogs and I did several wonderful hikes in the Washington and Jefferson National forest, and it was nice to be able to come back to such a comfortable and relaxing space afterwards.

As advertised. Easy and great communication. Had everything that was needed for our family of 4 and pup. Towels were nice and not thin. The beds were extremely comfortable and sheets were soft & clean. We are Hokies so we loved all the Hokie decor. We will definitely be staying again.

Perfect family setting! beautiful home! Amazing amenities and a porch meant for sitting! The yard is nicely cleaned and fenced in so little ones and Dogs are safe while enjoying the great outdoors! There's even a Poo Station! The home is well appointed with all of the things that you need for your stay! Nice big couch, recliner, bar stools for the extremely nice kitchen, and a butcher block table to die for! The appliances are up to date, plenty of refrigerator space, and a full range with oven and over the top microwave with a true pass through exhaust fan! The mattresses are medium to firm, and comfortable as they get! Parking is abundant and super convenient to the side deck for loading and unloading! The place is a Hidden Treasure in Southern West Virginia!!!!

I cannot put into words how great this stay was! The place is perfectly situated, super clean and welcoming, and completely stocked with anything you would ever need! I had a fantastic time staying there and would recommend it to everyone! I will be back, guaranteed! Thank you guys so much!

We decided to stay here for my daughter’s second birthday. We picked this spot for all of the amenities the state park across the street offers, but I didn’t do enough research and none of the attractions were open for the season. That being said, we still had an amazing time and it was so nice to be able to use the kayaks that were at the cabin. We went kayaking at Bluestone Lake and the people who run the marina were nice. The cabin was cozy. My daughter loved the bear theme. The WiFi worked really well and we were able to access our favorite streaming service. The hot tub was also a huge plus after a long day of kayaking. The neighbors seemed friendly and all of us felt very safe.

I felt strange getting this whole house for myself but it was a great night of sleep out in the country. I'm sure you can see a million stars but it was rainy the night I was there. Would be a good spot for a family getaway although the house was starting to show its age a little. Regardless it was a great value and a bucolic setting.

This was a perfect place for our mini getaway. Next time we will stay longer. The house was beautiful, the creek was relaxing and the fire pit was perfect. We will be returning!!

This was my second time staying at Amanda’s tiny home. It’s perfection. It was so lovely to sit outside and enjoy the peace after a long day of driving and activities. The home itself is an oasis. I love the layout, and I adore the beautiful and unique shower, kitchen sink, and kitchen counter with glimmers of gold. ✨ Hope to stay here again in the future, for a weekend and not a quick evening! Detailed instructions and fantastic communication. Thank you for everything!

Eddie and Cindy were wonderful hosts! The airbnb was beautiful and so was the surrounding area. If you are looking for a peaceful and private getaway this is it. The pub was a nice place to sit and relax as well. The roads were quiet and a great place to enjoy nature.

The hot tub was very nice. The place was very clean. Close to other cabins. Easy access...no steep hills to climb. The loft ladder didn't make it easy to get upstairs. Kinda pricey compared to other cabins we stayed at. There wasn't any dish soap. No wood included. It was a nice stay. Internet is frontier and i couldn't even use it. I had to use my cell phone data.

My family and I are traveling from SW FL to upstate new york on a move. What a cool adventure this was for my family. I can't beleive we got all of that for the price. We were the only ones in the whole sherwood forest which was ever cooler. Eventhough my son is only a little over one, he loved the slide, swing and all the rocks he could play with. I took my dog for a swim in the creek and ge couldn't of been happier. The beds were comfortable and there was even air conditioning. It was truly a 10/10 glamping experience!!

Great place. I will try to stay again when in Blacksburg. Go Hokies!

Great stay! Its spring and the property is covered in blooms. The whole place is a slice of heaven. The cabin is amazing as well. Perfectly clean and extremely well built. It also has a fun loft to sleep in. I’ll definitely stay here again.
