Four of us ham radio ops rented the property over the weekend. Our mission was to set up radios (two Elecraft K3’s) and antennas to operate the 2025 FL QSO Party from rare Gilchrist County. Our setup and operation worked out spectacularly well! We hung wire antennas from the railings and had one ground mounted vertical dipole. We set up two stations in a bedroom and used the house wi-fi two computers for managing the logging. John, property manager helped us in so many ways…carrying equip, providing a ground for the stations, etc. John was so interested in our ham operation that he may pursue getting ham license!

This house is in a great location. Note that you are down river from the public park. We paddled up to the park and it took about 2 hours and then about 40 min to float back to the house. The kayaks were well worn so if you need a lot of frills bring your own. The kids loved the water and saw lots of fish with goggles. The house is very comfy. It doesn’t have central heat and air. We didn’t try the heat but the AC seemed to work good. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and lots of utensils. Having a grill was great also. Plenty of clean towels as well. We would love to go back soon.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ✨✨✨✨✨ Words can’t even describe how incredible this property is, as it is so gorgeous, surrounded by nature, and a river front view. The hosts were the most accommodating and communicative I have ever experienced on my travels. They go above and beyond making their guests feel at home and have truly touched my heart. It feels so remote but you can get to stores and local restaurants in 15 mins. If you are even considering staying here just take the leap of faith. Horseshoes, fire pits, volleyball, basketball, tetherball, tennis, corn hole, and more is offered as far as outdoor games are considered. Our group had a yoga retreat where we practiced yoga and meditation on the dock, jumped in for a swim, kayaked down the river, swam in springs, did art therapy, cold plunges, danced under the stars, and supported each other through our healing. Just being on the land was healing enough even if you took away all of our activities.

We wanted to get away from the congestion of the city and suburbs, Charles place was just what we needed. We stocked up on groceries at a Publix on our way up. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed and more! Very peaceful and quiet.

We loved staying here! It was perfect for our family. The home was immaculate and very easy to get too. We felt very comfortable leaving our boats tied to the docks. We will definitely stay again.

What a fabulous Airbnb. House was amazing! Clean, comfortable and every amenity that you could need was there. One of the best Airbnb’s that I have stayed at. The property was so beautiful and so much to see and do. Do not be scared to book this gem! Worth every penny.

Williams place was fantastic for our family. It was clean and just the right size for our group of 5, water pressure was strong, kitchen was stocked, and he had a whole cabinet full of games. He spent time on a nice guide that he wrote out. A few of the trails that he recommended, we enjoyed them thoroughly. ! We enjoyed using his kayaks and the fire pit. We visited several springs, which was the purpose of our trip and his place was a great location for that. We went to Royal Springs, Little , and Jennie. We would've gone to Ichetucknee, but it's crazy on a Saturday. We would love to come back ! I recommend that you Bring your bug spray
