Private parking with a 30ft covered walking bridge overlooking a water stream to lead you to the cottage. About 5 minutes away from Gilbert area, where trail heads start. Quiet area & cozy. With access to in ground pool. The pool is open from June 1st to September 1st. Only about 5 minutes from R D Bailey dam with picnic/play areas and visitor center with a nice view of the dam and lake. Great for boating and fishing. Close to trail 12, Mexican restaurant, grocery stores, Dollar stores, Giovanni’s, & more! Lots of hiking areas and other local parks and recreation areas.

We have a 2 bed room cabin available for rent located right next to the Hatfield McCoy ATV trail system, along with being located in Gilbert, WV which is the HUB of all good trail riding available! We are only 1 mile to the Rock House trail head. We are just a 5 minute ride to the new trail system Braveheart. You have your own private hot tub, sun room, and private outdoor getaway to relax at night. There is a futon available in the sun room as well.

Peaceful, safe, trail access

Wildwood Cabins sits right on the Guyandotte River and the views are amazing and peaceful. We are only 250 yards from trail 17 of the RockhousTrail and only five minutes from the grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations in downtown Gilbert. We can leave trail permits and maps in the cabin for you so there's no need to worry about running those down. Our cabins are very well kept and clean.
