My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

The Lavender House is an enchanting pre-Civil War farmhouse nestled in the middle of a working 600 acre farm. It was remodeled with love 18 years ago and became a cozy family home, where children grew and memories were created. Full of charm, The Lavender House boasts hand chosen antiques, beautiful wood beams, original hard wood flooring and a wood burning fireplace to warm your winter nights. A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.
