We absolutely loved our stay at Cuckoo the cabin by Madara and Janis! The house was not too big but had everything we needed and more. Kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with high quality appliances and products, the whole place was cozy, stylish and felt right at home. Hot tub was a very nice addition as well as the pond for a refreshing swim :) Hosts were super helpful, welcoming and flexible with checking in and out, which is awesome when traveling with a baby. Thanks so much again for a wonderful stay!

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need- and more! From charcoal and all the grill tools, logs for the hot tube and sauna, to a great coffee machine and thoughtful touches throughout. The terrace was super cozy, surrounded by lush greenery, with plenty of different types of swings and places to unwind. At night, the starry sky was magical. It’s ideal for 3-5 people with plenty of space and clearly lots of love and care from the owners, both inside and out. The host even left us some sweet, delicious surprises that made us feel truly welcomed. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, making the most of the house and garden.Time flew by, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back again someday. Thank you for everything! I highly recommend Maret's place to anyone who enjoys a simple but well considered accommodation in truly beautiful surroundings. Sauna is absolutely wonderful and Maret as a host made me feel the most welcomed!

We absolutely loved the place, and in the winter it was especially cozy. The place felt so homely, and had everything you needed - bathroom with a very cool shower, comfy beds and the host was so friendly and easy to communicate. I hope I’ll visit again someday!

Bija lieliska ģimenes atpūta. Klusa un mierīga vieta, bet tajā pat laikā viss pastaigas attālumā. Māja ļoti tīra, teritorija plaša un sakārtota. Ļoti viesmīlīgi saimnieki. Paldies Jums par jauku atpūtu un par gardi pagatavotiem vēžiem, ar kuriem mūs pacienājat! Noteikti vēl tiksimies!

Unser Aufenthalt war atemberaubend. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt und die Gastgeber waren immer sofort erreichbar, bei Fragen und Wünschen. Das Haus war sehr ruhig gelegen und perfekt, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Our stay at Egons’ place was a peaceful, nature-filled experience! From the forest surrounding the little settlement, to the beach of the Gulf of Riga literally 100 meters away from the property - it was great for nature lovers. Egons was very friendly and responsive, and had an interesting story about his place - just talk to him :) Unfortunately during our stay there was a mosquito plague going on so we couldn’t properly enjoy the garden and the outside amenities- but l I’m sure they are great! Only downside would be that it is somewhat remote - an hour by bus from Riga - and the bus stops going at around 20:00. However, some advance planning or using Bolt should get you going ;) Well recommend visiting Egons’ cozy wooden house in the forest - you live close to the family and you feel the warmth! Thank you, Egons and the fam, we would love to stay again sometime!

The stay was perfect! Cabin is warm and cozy even in winter, the surrounding was calm and beautiful. Communication with host and directions to the cabin were clear and easy to get there.

Visited for the 2nd time, this time during the weekdays. We were the only ones there. Might be due to recent start of the school year, but this place needs to be known more. IMHO - One of the utmost "peace & serenity" places in the country. It has everything you might need or want to relax from the city hype. Sauna, place and equipment for a bbq, lake for swimming, SUPing, boating or anything else you might want - check, check, check and check again. Disregarding the longer trip from the capital (roughly 2.5-3h trip), I highly recommend the place for anyone who's looking for a perfect place for a nature retreat. Added "mega bonus" - PET FRIENDLY, so bring your buddies along.

We decided to spend a week in Southern Estonia, and what a gem the Tinso house turned out to be. Firstly, compared to some of the sheds that charge nearly double the amount besides not having water and other commodities, Tinso house is in the five star league. The house has everything one needs and even things one wouldn't imagine, such as a cheese-grater. The linen, towels, basic kitchen appliances, pots and pans – it is all there. The surrounding area is quiet and lovely. The closest store is 10 minutes away and there are a few swimming places within a 15 minute drive. When we finally left, we were somewhat sad, as it was a perfect getaway location. Finally, a huge thank you to Ronald and his family for this wonderful place. Would visit again 10/10.

Beautiful location, perfect place for retirement. We were surprised about little details that were left there for us, everything was perfect! I strongly suggest this place!

Very friendly hosts. Super cute house and beautiful nature! Very quiet but (with car) not very far from Tartu. Sauna was absolutely amazing and the whirlpool was also super cool. Would instantly come back a second time.
