Very comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation in a beautiful location. A very relaxing and peaceful stay, thank you.

Lovely, cosy, warm accommodation in a perfect spot by the harbour. Kitchen well equipped, no microwave but wasn’t a problem for us. We stayed over New Year and experienced both a storm and a lovely sunny day. The Steam Packet Inn a few doors down was friendly and welcomes dogs which was great. We had an amazing meal on New Years Day and would highly recommend the Cullen Skink and beer bread. The double bed was extremely comfy and lovely soft bed linen made for a good nights sleep.

Fantastic stay at the sea cubby! A perfect place to recharge and relax, with amazing views, wildlife and lovely accommodation. It was a perfect size for us. Additionally, the cubby has been kitted out with helpful items that you need whilst away - tea, coffee, lovely linen and plenty of great local recommendations which we tried out. The place was super cosy as well considering the coastal location. Would love to come back.

Had another very comfortable stay, home from home, with fantastic views of the Ayrshire coastline. David and Una being superb hosts throughout my stays here. Can highly recommend

This is the first time I stayed here and I can’t wait to return. The views are breathtaking in all weather and you’re in a private and peaceful off grid space. The lodge has been sympathetically renovated / decorated and the aga and woodburner are amazing - it’s very in keeping with the area and has rustic charm. We felt immediately at home. It is described accurately and yes the single foot steps to the bedroom are steep - you just have to be careful and turn a light on if you’re going up and down in the dark and do it barefoot - like a ladder but with flat steps. If you want a fuller bath, get the kettle boiled and some pans and away you go - something charming about that! The beach is 5 mins walk and went in the freezing sea morning and night and it’s pretty much secluded. The deer roamed regularly and we feel utterly transformed and relaxed - we already miss the whistling kettle. Loads of books too and a fab window seat in the lounge - we used the outdoor cushions for comfort

We’ve found our happy place ! Location exceeded our expectations, the beach view and the short stroll down to it was blissful and the birds in the garden were unbelievable- so many , all day everyday! We had absolutely everything we could possibly need in the accommodation. We walked everyday and only left the area once to visit the red kite feeding station at Bellymack hill farm - what a joy that was. Even when it rained it was still bliss to be in a lovely warm environment watching the wind and the waves! Although there are other properties around it literally feels like you are alone- we will definitely be back in the spring/summer - I’m longing to swim in the bay!

Having visited Southerness a couple of times before we knew the area was beautiful and had lots to offer but this is by far the best place we've stayed! Compact, clean, cozy and comfortable with stunning views out almost every window! Our young daughter was very taken with 'the little house' and our dog was more than delighted with a decent garden and private access to the beach. Paul and Linda couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed and going above and beyond. We very much look forward to staying again in the future!

absolutely loved our time at the bungalow. so peaceful and spitting distance of so many lovely places. the bungalow itself was amazing! the sunroom was brilliant and the cows next door :). Jane was very helpful we had a little issue whilst there and she answered and sorted within minutes couldn't ask for more. we will be booking up for August if there is availablity. couldn't have been better.

We had a lovely stay. The view is incredible and we enjoyed the star gazing at night. Great location to explore Ayrshire.The caravan could do with some tlc but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jonathan was a great host and communicated really well. The big enclosed decking was great for the kids and dogs.

Lovely lodge right on the beach, gorgeous views.. great for watching sunrise & sunset 😍 Lindsay left doggy treats & cake what more could we ask for! Lots to do on the site..

We had a fantastic stay at Sean’s and Kelly’s place . The place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. . Communication was seamless; Sean and Kelly were always prompt and helpful. We truly appreciated the thoughtful amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a coastal getaway far from the hustle bustle of a city life ! I would definitely book again.

Spotless, beautifully decorated, smelt so clean and fresh on arrival. Lovely touches like toiletries, tea, coffee, hand wash etc. like a hotel but in a caravan. Beautiful surroundings. Had a BBQ on the beach. Tried the entertainment, arcade, restaurant and all very good. We, as a family of 4, had the very best time. Would highly recommend, Matt was on the end of the phone and everything was made super easy. Will definitely be returning and would suggest to anyone that this is absolutely perfect for a family holiday that you can do as much or as little as you want and matt’s caravan ticked every box. Cannot recommend highly enough. Loved it. Thank you

I cannot recommend Gillian’s beautiful home highly enough, my partner and I booked it as a very last minute trip for new year with our two kids and it was just brilliant. Even in the typical Scottish weather the views were lovely and when the sun was shining it was stunning. The home has everything in it that you could possibly need and is so cosy and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The kitchen was really well equipped and was spacious enough to cook as well as being a social area. We decided to book again as soon as we’d arrived! Thank you Gillian x

Zoe is just about the best Host ever! In fact she is the best, and nicest host I have had so far. She is very friendly warm and accommodating. The caravan is just beautiful and immaculate. It is sited across a road from a small beach that is able to be used after tide is out. You can (if you have binoculars) watch the seals sunbathe. Looking at the sea is very calming and you literally can watch the moods and the colour of the sea change. Seascape has everything you could possibly need for a stay - even down to a long handled shoe horn! I brought my own, and had to chuckle when I found Zoe had already considered this. I have absolutely NO hesitation in recommending both the lovely Zoe and her superb Seascape to everyone who wants a stay right beside the sea Thank you for everything Zoe including your lovely warm communications.

Sandhead beach is an amazing location, beautiful views from the house. We loved walking the miles of sandy beach, usually no one in sight! We would not hesitate to come back. The house was lovely, well kept and with everything you needed. It was comfortable and so peaceful. We loved the pub along the road and a drive out to Portpatrick.

We stayed for a long weekend in March and loved staying here. House is excellent and in a beautiful location. Plenty of room for us all to stretch out and relax, loved the reading nooks. Heating was spot on.

Our experience at this property in Scotland was wonderful from start to finish. The booking process was straightforward, and our reservation was confirmed almost immediately, making everything effortless. Arriving at the property, however, turned into quite an adventure. We arrived in the evening amid heavy rain, with visibility low, and had to navigate a few remaining potholes along the way (though most had been filled in). Thankfully, we managed to find the key safe, unload our luggage, and settle in for the night. The next morning was a completely different scene. We woke up to clear skies and stunning views across the bay from both the bedroom and the lounge—it was breathtaking. Our first instinct was to get dressed and head straight to the beach for a morning walk, which was the perfect way to start the day. Inside, the house is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, with attention to detail everywhere. Premium shower gels were stocked in the bathrooms—a thoughtful touch

We spent a family Easter in this lovely house. Great spot, comfortable for a family with young children, beautiful area with lots to do nearby. The house is well appointed and cosy. It’s quiet and has a lovely garden with birdfeeder and lots of chairs in sunny spots. Highly recommend!

Perfect location - you can see the beach, and town is just around the corner. Ayr has the best play park we've come across.

We had a fantastic stay at Spindrift, the scenery is truly stunning. As a host Wilma goes above and beyond, the cottage was very well stocked with everything you could want. The thoughtful extras were much appreciated. We will definitely return.
