The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Be prepared for instant relaxation in this peaceful rural spot at an historic watermill on the banks of the River Monnow, the only sounds are those of the river and the local wildlife. Take a glass of wine or BBQ down to the river in the early evening and be sure to see the kingfisher flying down the river and trout jumping. Walkers can join the riverside Swan walk, which runs through the Ruthlin grounds and woods and fishing can be arranged on request.

The Piggery is a beautifully converted property situated in rural Monmouthshire – a dark sky area, just outside the village of Skenfrith - providing an ideal location for a relaxing or active break at all times of the year with fabulous walks on the doorstep or within easy driving distance.
