The Bridge View Studio

Perfect getaway and a perfect location to get to know Elkader with it’s coffee shops, antique mall, shops, opera house and beautiful Turkey River. Property was homesteaded in 1841 and sits directly across from the courthouse and looks over the famous Keystone Bridge and downtown. Come stay awhile. ***NOTE: Because we are located across from the court house the clock tower bells can be heard from our location. Main part of the house is our residence, Airb&b has separate entrance on the side.

Bring your UTV and ride the trails for $30 per driver and $10 per passenger or rent a UTV for $300. Close to trout fishing stream or Mississippi for fishing. Approx 15 miles from Prairie Du Chein, close to canoeing for the Kickapoo, Wisconsin river. Has a gas & charcoal grill, pool table, firepit, Smart TV. With your stay you will have 4 full bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, laundry, a full kitchen with a dishwasher, the Great Room, gas fireplace, two dining areas, and large outside deck space, which includes a gas grill, to enjoy the starry nights and beautiful views. The Mink Creek Lodge has miles of maintained trails, a fire ring with fire wood, and the Mink Creek is a stocked trout stream. The host and hostess live in the walk out basement. No areas or entrances are shared with the guest.

All three bedrooms are located upstairs with beautiful views of the river,dam and town. Each bedroom has its own separate ac/heating controls to adjust to the perfect sleeping temperature. Lots of outdoor seating and firepit! Simpson Arcade upstairs and golden tee on the main floor! Plenty of privacy!

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

Gas grill and fire pit on site. Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak within 3 miles. Prairie du Chien just across the bridge. Great eating and shopping in nearby McGregor!
