We stayed for 2 weeks at Gayans place, it looks exactly like the pictures with lots of space. The bed is really comfy and the shower has hot water although the pressure is low. Me and my boyfriend both work online, so the desks were great however 10GB of fibre internet was not enough for both of us to work for a full day You do need a bike for the location as there aren’t many restaurants in walking distance. We rented a different one because the bike provided had no mirrors I know this is a family home, however the owners were occasionally cleaning in the garden which made it feel a bit less private at times Overall, I would recommend Gayan’s place, it was great value for money and we had a lovely time in Weligama, thank you ☺️

Haben 3 Nächte bei Josephine verbracht. Die Unterkunft war super schön, geräumig und hatte eine tolle Dachterrasse. Außerdem waren die Empfehlungen klasse - hier hat Josephine ein nettes Dokument zusammengestellt, das man sich unbedingt durchlesen sollte. Außerdem war der Preis sehr fair. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen. liegt etwas abseits vom Strand aber es gibt einen kleinen, süßen Einkaufsladen direkt ums Eck und ein super leckeres familiengeführtes Restaurant (Humbhaha Ahangama) fußläufig. Für die meisten anderen Sachen kann man besser ein Tuktuk nehmen. Hier solltet ihr unbedingt die Empfehlung aus dem Dokument beachten, Anoura war einfach super :)! Mein einziger negativer Punkt ist, dass es etwas in der Nähe der Bahnstrecke liegt und daher manchmal etwas laut sein kann - uns hat das aber nicht gestört. Sehr zu empfehlen!

一切的一切都太好了，离沙滩近在咫尺。两个房间都有空调，门外是做饭的地方。很方便，很方便，性价比也很高。还帮我预定了第二天的观景。

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces quelques jours chez Nilu. Jolie maison, joli jardin, Nilu et sa famille on été très accueillants. Idéalement située, à quelques minutes de kabalana beach dans un quartier légèrement en retrait de l’effervescence de la côte. Merci !!

Great place. Right on the beach with a gate that provides complete privacy. Even with the direct proximity to the beach you feel safe and the entire resort has a great chill vibe about it. The waves are great for fun, body and surf boarding and as our close friends said “they just keep coming, it’s relentless fun” and the cool pool has a perfect temperature to plunge into after the sea. Lots of little cafes, bars, restaurants, surf schools and shops all outside the front door. The supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk or a short tuk tuk ride, selection isn’t that good and was about the only negative side of what was a very successful and relaxing week for Mums and Dads, whilst the teenagers were kept happy with the sea, pool and of course, a bit of internet time!! Lastly, the house team were always helpful and obliging to assist and guide. Thank you to them and the evening guard who keeps you safe after a hard day in the sun. We will be back…..

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

Gads Villa is a truly magical place. The gardens are exquisitely landscaped, and the giant Velvet Apple tree is really a wonder to behold. The pool has a shallow section which is perfect for little ones, or for adults to lounge in. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed (important when traveling with 4 youngsters!). The bathrooms are likewise huge and very prettily set out. Beds are comfortable and the fans were sufficient to keep us cool at night. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, a few minutes tuk tuk ride into the main part of town. I personally found it very convenient to have yoga and a little spa within a few minutes walk. Secret Beach is also only a short walk away. Sahan and team were super helpful, and breakfasts were delicious. All in all a fabulous stay.

Мы провели здесь месяц – это почти идеальное место! Интернет идеальный для работы, в т.ч. с видеозвонками. Удобная кровать с новым матрасом. Ванная комната – восторг! Туалет и душ отделены друг от друга, а горячая вода – это действительно горячая вода в безлимитном количестве и с великолепным напором. На кухне есть все, кроме турки для приготовления кофе, но это мелочь. С собаками мы подружились и часто играли. Они действительно лают, но только когда кто-то приходит, что в нашем случае происходило очень редко. Хозяева – прекрасные люди, общаться по всем вопросам было легко и приятно. Между нашими и соседними апартаментами нет шумоизоляции за счет тонкой двери в смежной стене. Мы сняли и эти апартаменты тоже и использовали их как отдельный рабочий кабинет. Когда на виллу кто-то приезжает, слышно абсолютно все, что происходит на улице в любое время суток. В любом случае моя оценка 10 из 10, потому что все перечисленные плюсы с лихвой компенсируют несущественные недостатки. Спасибо!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Tri Lanka. From the moment we booked, our host was incredibly responsive, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. He was always available to answer any questions and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The accommodation itself was spotless, well-maintained, and filled with beautiful natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect space to relax after exploring the area. While there was some noise from the nearby trains, it wasn’t disruptive and didn’t take away from the overall experience. What really stood out to us was the exceptional hospitality. Our host was not only professional but also genuinely kind and helpful, making sure we felt welcome and at home throughout our stay. We were very happy with our stay and would absolutely recommend Tri Lanka to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Great apartment at a great price. The Ac and wifi were really good and the smart TV was a nice touch. There is a small shop across the way for essentials like water and snacks, and it’s easy to get a tuktuk to the beach or city. The host was very responsive and even let us have a late checkout! Would definitely stay here again :)

Located in a less busy, on a hill and a more local area but walkable distance to the main road, public transportation, Uber, pickme, supermarkets and restaurants. Totally sweet, friendly, professional and kind hosts. They warmly welcomed me and my wife to the property and helped carry our bags to the apartment upstairs. We instantly felt like we were at home. Apartment is modern, newly built and squeaky clean. We loved the view from the balconies as well as from the rooftop. Nobody bothers anybody and we thoroughly enjoyed our privacy here. Everything was included in the apartment for a comfy stay. Air-condition was excellent and there was ample hot water in the bathroom. It will be nice to have a duvet/comforter because it can get chilly at night. The best part is the pool which was so refreshing during hot days. It was clean and well maintained, almost felt like a natural pool. Our stay was excellent and would love to come back. Thanks for hosting us. Good luck guys.

Awesome place. The host is very helpful and can organize anything you need like scooter etc. nice location just off the main road. Bed comfortable and the AC works well. Really great experience

I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment. It is located on the second floor and has a private entrance. The host was very responsive and provided a blender, a computer desk, and even a scooter. The location is convenient—just a 15-minute walk to the nearest beach and 15-20 minutes to a store, cafés, and a small fruit market for locals. Lakshan was always available, and when the water heater broke, it was repaired very quickly. As is common in Sri Lanka, ants may appear, so they need to be dealt with using repellents. I am very satisfied with my stay. The host was truly attentive and always helped me with any questions I had.

Amazing host and the space was extremely homely. It was picturesque and exactly as the photos advertised. The amenities were functional and the space in itself was well maintained and clean. It was an Eco-friendly abode. It was a calm and peaceful stay. A little away from the hustle and bustle but the distance to other restaurants and shops were pretty close by and walkable. Transportation was also easily available.

Our stay at Pramod's place with my family was fantastic! He is truly an incredible host, always attentive to our needs and ready to help with anything we required. His kindness and generosity exceeded all expectations, from assisting with our late check-in due to a delayed flight to helping us organize various trips around the area. The apartment is fantastic, always clean and located in a convenient area for any interest. I highly recommend staying with him so an unique experience !

This place was spotless and perfect for an over night stay! The ice cream shop below made our daughter super happy. It was pleasant and great for the price! Although there’s a kitchen, there’s no pot for rice or noodles to boil and the spatula melted to the skillet when we tried to make eggs. Otherwise, it was fabulous!

Very nice stay with this lovely family! They are very loving and truely cared about me. They made some food and shared it. Everything what I needed was there. Would highly recommend as a homestay.

"It was a pleasure staying at Mr. Ranjith’s place in Galle. He was a host who showed parental love and care. Their recommendations on places to visit and transportation to use were very accurate. They have a very positive attitude and caring nature. The rooms were neat and clean, with lots of books to read. It was a very cute and nicely designed place. There are plenty of restaurants around, and the sea breeze was nice while we enjoyed walking around. It's very difficult to say which we enjoyed the most: the stay itself or the warmth of their hospitality. This review would not be complete without mentioning Mrs. Ranjith, who is a woman of wisdom. Nihal und Chandra sind sehr freundliche und herzliche Gastgeber. Nihal hat uns am Bahnhof abgeholt. Die Unterkunft ist aber auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar und ca. 10 min von Galle Fort entfernt. Es wurde alles mit viel liebe eingerichtet und auch beschriftet. Sogar eine Anleitung mit Hinweisen wurde für die Gäste erstellt. Nihal stellt einem auch einen Roller zur Verfügung mit Helm, für eine minimale Tagespauschale. Die Unterkunft war sauber. In der Umgebung bist du unter den Locals und kannst auch günstig Essen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist 5 min. entfernt. Aber auch ein Gemüse- und Obstmarkt gibt es in der Umgebung, falls man selber kochen möchte. Sollten wir wieder nach Sri Lanka reisen, dann kommen wir gerne wieder. Filiz und Stefan

Very worth for the price! Easy to walk to nearby beaches and cafes. Definitely hard to sleep in at all since the road gets quite loud with busses honking. The house is next to the forest/jungle so there are many small bugs like ants in the bathroom and sometimes the bedroom but it’s not so bad, just something to be aware of. The power went out a few times during our stay but apparently that’s pretty normal for this region especially if it is raining. Overall would still recommend for good location and price. Padma was able to do our laundry as well for a small fee

The old chilli house really did feel like a home from home. In a great location Kris and his family were very warm and welcoming. Kris is a natural host and had contacts for anything we wanted to do. From Tuk Tuk and Scooter rides when needed to his amazing knowledge of the area. We were so lucky to experience this little slice of paradise. The old chilli house has beautiful rooms, with attention to small, homey details. Do not hesitate to book, it’s a popular airbnb for a reason!

Very comfortable, clean, great communication with our host, nice swimming pool and strong internet. We had a great time and would love to return in future.

We stayed at Habu Surf Stay 2 for 3 nights. Everything was amazing! We really love Dewata beach for the surf and vibes and the flat was perfect! The terrace is incredible, everything is super clean and the beds are really comfortable. Right downstairs is the shack beach cafe for food and drinks and board rentals at Dewata surf school. The last day we asked for a late check out, which was possible and really helped us! We would come back anytime!

Our family had a fantastic stay at Ghazzali’s apartment! He is a lovely, welcoming host who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. Ghazzali was extremely accommodating, and his hospitality truly made our trip memorable.
