This family friendly home away from home sleeps 7 in 3 double bedrooms (1 ensuite) and has a spacious open plan kitchen/living room.

It is located 2.6 miles away to the historic town of Yarmouth and is on the Isle of Wight Cycle route and perfectly situated for the huge amounts of walking trails West Wight has to offer through countryside and woodlands, beaches and towns.

Bay Haven - Secluded self contained unit

Located a stone's throw from Freshwater Bay, The Bay Haven is a studio home away from home tucked away within our garden. We are in the heart of the West Wight known for its stunning coastal walks to Freshwater Bay, Compton Bay and across Tennyson Downs, The Needles & Alum Bay. It's 3 minute walk to the Piano Cafe for breakfast & lunches with Orchards (a local grocery shop) just opposite. The main town of Freshwater is mins away by car. The hot tub is an additional fee of £15 per night.

There are so many simple delights: sea swims, beach BBQ's, dramatic coastal walks, explore caves, discover rockpools, crabbing, fishing, hire a SUP, or a nature walk through the marsh – even a round of golf! The Cabin offers a relaxed base to explore the many charms of the island. Perfect for a romantic break or a week with the kids.

‘Smugglers’ quirky hideaway

Smugglers was once an old stable attached to the back of our house. It’s still linked to the house, but is self contained. It’s unusual shapes and fixtures make it very quirky and would suit people that like something a bit different. There is a main double bed and a mezzanine deck ideal for relaxing on. The little kitchen allows you to stay in and cook for yourself if you fancy a cozy night in. The courtyard in front of smugglers can be used for bbq’s if the weather is kind!

The Sea Loft

The Sea Loft is a beautiful recently converted mid century space, hidden away in a peaceful, elevated location, with wonderful views. Relax in the large private garden, on the balcony, or wander down to the beach at Colwell for an early morning swim. A few minutes drive or cycle to Freshwater Bay and Yarmouth/ Compton Beach within 10 minutes drive. Wonderful walking on the doorstep. Easily accessible by bus or bike from Yarmouth ferry if you'd rather not bring a car

Bungalow with Sea Views

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway! A period Arts and Crafts bungalow with a sunny, fenced, garden overlooking Freshwater Bay. You are welcome to bring your dog and walk from the front door in every direction to enjoy the West Wight. Enjoy a short stroll down to Freshwater Bay, continue further all the way to the Needles in one direction. Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.

Emma’s Hut. Close to ferry. Own space

Emma’s Hut is a light and airy self contained bedroom with ensuite shower room and separate area with catering facilities. We are only 20 minutes drive from the Needles and even closer to Freshwater Bay and minutes from the Coastal Path. The historic town of Yarmouth has a great choice of places to eat, a Grade 2 listed pier a castle and fabulous views across the Solent. The ferry comes into Yarmouth from Lymington and is a short walk up the hill to our home.

Also a short 5 minute walk to freshwater village where you will find an array of traditional shops and cafes.
