Thank you for the time we spent in your beautiful home. We were a group of 9 and everyone was comfortable and home met all our needs. The surroundings were so peaceful and the game were a treat to see. We felt so blessed and privileged to spend a few nights in this amazing place. Thank you for the memories we have!

The house is an absolute stunner. We even cancelled our Saturday morning plans because we just wanted to stay in and enjoy the house. Well decorated, private and peaceful. Loved our stay.

Made a last minute booking and had the best time with my friends there. Vanessa was very responsive and the house itself is very beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. There are soo many games and things to do, we spent the entire weekend there and did not get bored at all. The place is equipped with everything you can think of! Amazing views.

The cottage is very comfortable, homely and in a beautiful setting. Equipped with all one needs for a weekend away. The driveway is difficult to spot and not particularly well used so a little confusing, but once there we had a fabulous time. Thanks so much xx

Jessica's place is really beautiful and perfectly located for a weekend out in the mountains. Nice hikes are nearby and all you need for a nice weekend available. Jessica is a great and helpful host. Would definitely stay at her place again.

Awesome views of the river and grapevine. Walking distance from the spa, restaurants and waterfront (for water activities).

Het verblijf bij Sandra was geweldig. we kregen een heel warm welkom. Het appartement is gelegen op een farm. Zeer mooie omgeving waar ook zebra's, kudu's en giraffen rondlopen. De weg er naar toe was wel wat lastig door de potholes. Mooi uitzicht vanuit alle slaapkamers. Sandra was zeer goed bereikbaar en heeft voor ons ook naar de wibe estate gebeld om te vragen of er nog plek was. Zeer fijn appartement en een zeer lieve gastvrouw.

We had an amazing weekend at Emfuleni.. The house was great and we had everything we needed. Afternoon drinks and early morning coffee on the patio as well as evenings around the bonfire! Walking distance to the river and surrounded by the mountains. Basil was very helpful with instructions and we will definitely be back.

The photos looked interesting and the reviews were fantastically positive - then the reality? Absolutely splendid! 10/10 - minus nothing! We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was spotless, cozy, private, safe, and secluded, with thoughtful touches throughout. Everything we needed (and more) was provided. Michelle was incredibly attentive, offering great advice and quick responses, and Vincent and Nadia were so kind helping us when we got stuck in the mud. Such warm, welcoming hosts. Thank you for an unforgettable getaway - we’ll definitely be back!

Thimble Cottage is an amazing place for a family holiday. The house is stunning and has everything you can think off. The gardens dam and surrounds are just stunning. So many walks right from the cottage. We also used the Sani Spoors mtb trails which were great and tubing in the river a short walk from the cottage So peaceful too that the 7 nights felt a lot longer Hosts were super responsive and provided info on things to do were to eat etc Thanks Karen and Andrew

Amazing location, and access to Drakensurg Sun facilities is a bonus. Plenty of activities to do - hiking, swimming, horse riding, canoeing, abseiling, all right on your doorstep

We had an incredible stay at this wonderful place as a family. The atmosphere was truly peaceful, and we couldn’t get enough of the amazing views that surrounded us. The property was serene and perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special thanks to our hosts, Erica and her husband, who were exceptional. Their warm hospitality made our experience even more memorable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil escape with stunning scenery and outstanding hosts. We’d love to return someday!

Loved everything about the place, everything is well thought, lovely quiet and peaceful surrounding. Place has everything you will need, and the things you never think of, they are there. Lovely host, goes over and beyond, really appreciated that, i will definitely be coming back.

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! I had an incredible experience staying at the Bronkhors’s.The place was exactly as described (if not better) – spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive, from the cozy bedding to the fully stocked kitchen that made cooking a breeze. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area next to the Vaal dam. Liezel went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, providing clear instructions, helpful local tips on fishing. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The setting of the lodge is second to none. Scenery for days and not another person in sight! We were 2 families with kids and had an amazing stay. The house itself was very comfortable and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.
