We do live upstairs, you are renting a walkin basement, and have use of outdoor spaces.

'Waterfront' on 1796 Historic Farm

Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem! The Springhouse is nestled in the rolling hills of Northern Virginia’s Wine Country! Originally constructed in the early 1800's, the structure was built over a natural spring that was used for refrigeration. Water from the spring maintains a constant cool temperature throughout the year while also filling a pond. The original stone well, channel and stone flooring are all intact for guests to explore and experience how our ancestors lived.

Escape the crowded city! This luxury log home is an off-grid solar powered house, and is perfect for your next corporate retreat, or family getaway. It is very private in a heavily wooded area with beautiful forest views. The home is located at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain, and is walking distance to hiking trails. Pricing varies based on dates and length of stay. *Note: We do not allow large events at this property. The house septic and parking can't accommodate more than 25 guests.

Breathtaking views all around. Just 50 minutes from Baltimore and Washington DC and 10 minutes to historic downtown Frederick. The house received a meticulous restoration that includes all mechanical systems and a modern addition with a gourmet kitchen and master bedroom. The property also includes a three car garage as well as a restored smoke house and log cabin.

Our generous space is suitable for a couple's getaway, a weekend with friends, a family vacation, a working vacation, or a quiet retreat.
