Washington, is a prime location for everything outdoors: year round HIKING, (1.7 miles to AT) & BIKING trails, 100s of groomed ATV/snowmobile trails, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and tube the pristine rivers, waterfalls & emerald pools and SKI THE SKI RESORTS within 10-30 miles. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists: a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common all within easy walking distance of the studio.

It also sits directly on The Pemigewasset River, the best swimming hole in the back yard! The town's best restaurants are within walking distance. The location is peaceful and remote but only six miles to Interstate 93 and within twenty- five minutes of Plymouth, Lincoln, and Waterville Valley. The stand-alone apartment with private entrance is located above the garage which has its own deck overlooking the spacious backyard. This is a great base camp for all the adventures that the Western White Mountains have to offer!
