Welcome to Charlotte’s Place in the beautiful little town of Clarens in the Orange Free State. We have made every effort to make your time with us as comfortable as possible. During your stay you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Clarens has to offer and which is surrounded by the beautiful Maluti Mountains. Due to load shedding we have installed an inverter for your convenience as well as a tank to supply the house with water when the towns water pumps can’t pump due to load shedding

Loft Room @ Craigrossie

The Loft Room@Craigrossie is a self-catering space for two on Craigrossie Game Farm, 8 km (3kms on good gravel road) outside of Clarens towards Golden Gate. The self-contained space has a loft room with views over the dams & mountains, a queen bed with 100% cotton bedding, bathroom and a kitchenette downstairs. A borehole supplies water. DSTV, WiFi, tea, coffee & kitchen essentials (spices & olive oil) are provided. Bring your own rod for catch & release trout fishing (daily rod fees apply).

Four Good Seasons

A stunning house filled with bright, natural light. River frontage and valley and mountain views. Two sitting rooms, both with DSTV so you can have sport and cooking on at the same time! Only 6 minutes drive from The Clarens Square and 26 restaurants, yet you can unwind completely in the peacefulness of the wind and sunshine. Lovely walks. Electric blankets and wood burning fires , fully equipped kitchen, 4.5 bathrooms for 6 bedrooms including one with 4 bunk beds. It's huge but homely.

Clarens River Cottage

Clarens River Cottage is a private self-catering retreat, 500m from the village center with easy access to restaurants and shops. Nestled at the foot of the Rooiberg Mountains, the cottage offers stunning views and access to nearby hiking trails. It has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and private bathroom. The open-plan kitchen and living area lead to a patio with mountain views. Amenities include a wood-burning fireplace, Smart TV, braai (bbq), and secure off-street parking.

Clifton Farm House

Clifton farm house is located on a working farm in the Clarens countryside and offers guests a beautiful and peaceful stay. The farm is ideal for hiking, bird watching and mountain biking, followed by a few drinks round the fire. The house is suited to accommodate 4 guests in two private bedrooms each with own bathroom fitted with bath and shower. All doors open out onto a large patio overlooking the mountains and farm. The house has an outdoor braai for guests to use.

Peach Trees Cottage Clarens

A beautiful cottage surrounded by peach trees and mountains - is situated in a secluded corner of Clarens, Free State, South Africa. Peach Trees offers accommodation for two people in quiet surroundings, amazing views, while being close to the village centre. The cottage has a gas hob, under counter fridge, and ample space for cooking and braaing and a wood burning fireplace. There is a desk and free WIFI for those who may need to work or connect while away from home.

Clarens Villa Apartment

This unique place has a style all its own. One bedroom en-suite apartment joined to a main house with self catering facilities. The living area is heated by a wood burning fire place and the bedroom en-suite has an air conditioner. Braai facilities on site as well as a Smart TV with DSTV and WiFi. Two to three kms from the centre of town, on a mountain side. It is the bottom level of a three storey house but completely private and not affected by loadshedding.

The Willows

The Willows is a spacious, fully equipped, beautifully decorated cottage with a lovely open - plan lounge and kitchen area. It has two seperate bedrooms with two ensuite bathrooms. The verandah of the Willows is a special place to enjoy your holiday from as it looks out over the farm lands and beyond. The Willows is equipped with a fireplace. It has full premium DSTV.

Chameleon Room @ The Fat Mulberry Guesthouse

The little Chameleon Room is cosy and suitable for one person Ideal for business trip stop overs or a family member needing their privacy The Chameleon Room has 1 single bed, a shower, a TV with DStv, small fridge, kettle, microwave and a fireplace. NOT A FULLY EQUIPED KITCHEN. Pre-made meals are available on request.
