This is a gorgeous place to spend a few peaceful days. Richard was a perfect host, providing ample local recommendations. I must single out 2 of these, The Lobster Pot which is within walking distance and Karoo, a short drive away. The house is very comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. The 3rd bedroom has limited headroom but was perfect for our younger son. The location is very quiet but walking distance to beach.

We had a great stay at St. Helen's. The house was even better in person. Our 4 & 1 year old were delighted to see lots of toys available to play with and our teenager loved gaming on the projector screen. The house was stocked above and beyond what you would expect from an air bnb. Would really recommend !

Unser Familienurlaub bei Mairéad und John war großartig. So schön hatte ich es mir nicht vorgestellt. Wir hatten einen traumhaften Ausblick in den Garten und direkt dahinter liefen die Tiere über die Weide. Die Kinder haben sich so gefreut die Esel zu streicheln und die Lämmer und kleinen Katzen zu beobachten. Man hat auch direkten Ausblick aufs Wasser. Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber und uns wurde ein Frühstück bereitgestellt, was toll war, da wir in der Nacht angereist sind. Mairéad ist so eine freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die rundum an alles gedacht hat, im Besonderen auch für die Kinder. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Ich kann jedem diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Wir werden sie in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten!

Lisanne ist eine nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin, die Abwicklung war völlig problemlos. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Haus ist Teil einer Wohnanlage die etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, aber sehr ruhig und schön gelegen. Es sind nur wenige Meter bis zum Strand.

We had a lovely stay at Caroline's place. The cabin is compact but cozy, comfortable, and had everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped, and there were plenty of board games and books to keep the kids entertained. It's a peaceful and private spot, just a few minutes from Fethard and ideally located for exploring the Hook Peninsula. Check-in was smooth, and communication with Caroline was excellent.

we had a great stay there, the views are amazing. it is located in a perfect location and a bar and a shop across the road was ideal for us. The house wad spotless and a full kitchen if you wanted to make meals and washing machine there aswell if needed. We would go back in a heartbeat, thanks again Kathleen

If you are looking for a get away with no distractions and beautiful scenery this is the spot. I did not want to leave felt super relaxed and loved the walks in the surrounding area. Rose is fantastic and super helpful with any questions. I will be returning

Exceptional. The hosts especially were pure gents and the perfect balance between leaving you to your own devices and proactive/interested in what you're up to. The house is beautiful - if you didn't fancy going out you'd be just as happy staying in. And the location is amazing. I went for a stroll to Slade and the lighthouse was beaming on my way there the night I arrived. Beautiful. loved it, will stay there again

absolutely loved our stay at the cabin, will definitely be back, the cabin is in immaculate condition and you can tell the hosts really put there heart into the design of it. really felt like a home away from our home only we wish we could have a hot tub at home now 😁
