This place is perfect for big families looking for a cozy and comfortable stay far from the buzzing city. It has hot tub and pool (perfect for summer getaway). We enjoyed our new year's eve celebration. Big spaces and clean. Basement is also spacious with a bar and games. Hosts are responsive and considerate.

Gorgeous old home on a beautiful property, was the perfect place and location to host our large family Thanksgiving. The house was well stocked with charming dishes and serving pieces. They left plenty of wood for the wood-stove which made the large space feel so cozy, and plenty of wood and chairs surrounding the fire pit outside. They also provided plenty of drinking water and decorated with pumpkins and mums. Bed linens and towels a fresh crisp white felt nice to curl into. If I had a choice I’d opt for some queen size beds and use of the extra bedrooms! Though realize it’s not set up for multiple families but for individuals on a retreat. It still suited us just fine and the kids loved the giant room with the bunk beds. Thank you Carolyn for another perfect weekend!

Stayed for two nights for my daughter’s auditions at SUNY Potsdam Crane School of music. It worked out for us perfectly, place was warm and cozy despite the -2 temp at night. Plenty of and the place was very clean. Stephanie is a great responsive host.

Our family really enjoyed staying at Sandra's place. It's exactly as pictured and has all the listed amenities. We are a family of 10 and there was plenty of space. The backyard play area, trampoline and pool was perfect for our 3 littles. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. While there are shops and restaurants nearby, most closed at 8 or 10, and it's about a 40-50min drive to downtown Montreal. Sandra was very responsive and her mother who lived nearby was also very helpful. We hope to visit again soon.

It was a very beautiful and clean place. Kathryn was receptive and it was easy to talk with her. Although there were a LOT of mosquitos around, her place was the perfect spot for what we were looking for. Would come again

I love the smart lock new technology & home heater system. The Home is beautiful and bright, all rooms dark enough to sleep longer with black out shaders (curtains). I hope to stay longer next time soon!

Our stay was great! Absolutely beautiful log cabin perfectly tucked away and private! We didn’t have great weather when we went seeing as it was the middle of the winter, but the game room was a great feature and kept us busy the whole stay!

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

No complaints about our stay! My husband is very picky about where he stays and as we pulled out of the driveway he said “you did a great job finding this one!” House was spotless upon entry and had helpful instructions everywhere about how to run appliances. We loved the hot tub after a long day walking around Lake Placid. Our dog was very happy too, there was lots of room in the house for her to explore. Cassandra was always very responsive to anything I needed. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back someday!

There were 4 couples in our group and we had plenty of room to spread out! The location was beautiful with all the snow covered trees. We did use the wood stove insert and it heats the cabin really well! We were certainly not chilled when inside; the floor heat is nice too. Enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong and foosball in the basement. Unfortunately, the dart board was missing. We cooked dinner all 3 nights and found the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy, water pressure and temp were great and the driveway was cleared from ice and snow! I definitely recommend this cabin!

We had a blast at the cabin for New Year’s celebrations. The house was very clean and organized. The driveway was very steep as described- luckily we had an SUV! The gas fireplace was beautiful and we could see the the fireworks show from the fire pit on our lakefront. We are already discussing our next trip back!

Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

Shauna’s home was well maintained, clean, and well stocked with the essentials. We had a large party, and everyone was able to hang out together but also find smaller spaces for quiet time. It is very close to town, while also being an easy 20 minute drive from Whiteface. We would love to stay again!

The location was perfect, We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby.

This is our 2nd time staying at your place in less than a year. We plan to rent it again this fall if available. We absolutely love the space this house has. Thank you again for another wonderful visit to Saranac Lake.

A lovely spot that is both conveniently located in walking distance of Lake Placid’s sights, shops and restaurants and very peaceful with fresh air and trees. Great layout with comfy beds and lots of space. We had a wonderful weekend!

The farmhouse was a delightful place to stay in lake placid. Behind the house was a rail trail, it was busy but not crowded. People on the trail were respectful; we hardly noticed them. The cabin is fully stocked with basic needs plus more. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the house. The house is closer to the street than I expected but the street was pretty quiet. The house is in very close proximity to loads of great hikes.

What a fabulous place to stay!!! The home was spacious and super clean!! Great beds, mattresses, pillows and bedding. The kitchen was fully stocked and had great appliances. The location is so close to downtown, tons of restaurants and plenty to do. Cathy was very accommodating with an early check in, great communication and kind. She thought of everything for this rental. The welcome basket was thoughtful and much appreciated. As a former Airbnb super host, I rate this home and its host an A+++. We highly recommend it and hope to stay again.
