The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. KEY FEATURES - One bedroom – upstairs, with kingsize double and single bed, space for travel cot. - One shower room/toilet – downstairs. - Sleeps up to three, and infant. - Private outside terrace area with view, shared use of 1.5 acre secure meadow & gardens. - Dogs welcome, two maximum, small additional charge. - Young children welcome (but you may need to bring a stairgate for safety). - Smart TV (Netflix, iPlayer, Freesat etc). - Good-quality broadband/Wi-Fi (free). - Induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge (freezer available if required), dishwasher. - Dining table for four, two leather sofas. - Washing machine (and use of dryer if required). - Underfloor heating (powered by eco-friendly air source heat pumps). - Wood burner, first basket of logs free. With good pubs and walks nearby this cabin is perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Surrounded by woodland with hilltop views across the Wye Valley to Offa’s dyke, this eco friendly traditional Monmouthshire cottage is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature at its very best. Spend time in the garden listening to bird song and the gentle babbling of the stream or step out the gate to explore Cleddon Falls and beautiful view points along the Wye Valley walk. The medieval village of Trellech and Tintern Abbey are also within easy reach off or on road by foot, bike or car.

Squirrel Lodge is a pine scented slice of heaven in the Forest of Dean. Well equipped and situated overlooking a meadow and has direct walks into the forest and onto the Bream Heritage Walk. Also an absolute haven for fun seekers with one of the UK’s best cycle trails and downhill mountain bike course, along with abseiling, caving and canoeing. For walkers a wealth of forest trails that will guide you through the forest, take in the sculpture trail or simply take a stroll along the river Wye.

Tom's Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and fire wood provided, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated shower room is close to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs. Please note there is no WiFi.
