"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Our Unit is a simply furnished, country styled, clean and deceivingly spacious place to stay, just off the highway and a stones throw from town. You have your own carport and there is etra street parking for a larger vehicle or a Ute and trailer. We are not a resort location.
