Tom was the most gracious host one could ask for. From booking to checkout, Tom made himself available for any and all questions. He provided some insights about finding the house and tips on maneuvering onto the property. He personally met me and my family at check-in, provided us some insights on the property and the area, and helped with access to the lake. The house and grounds are immaculate. Clean, well stocked kitchen, and fresh linens. The property has everything you could ask for with lake, pool and hot tub access. . The private setting is the ultimate topping on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to connecting with Tom for future trips!

If I could rate this place 100/10, I would! I rented this home for my dad’s 100th birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. I was nervous about booking a place without seeing it in person, but Desiree quickly put me at ease. She sent detailed photos, answered all of my questions, and reassured me throughout the entire process. Now for the space itself. WOW. It was absolutely beautiful! The other reviews were right. It looks even better in person. Everything was clean, well maintained, and fully functional. And the views of the river were just breathtaking. The house was also incredibly family and kid friendly. There were so many thoughtful touches and fun details, including tons of games like giant Tetris. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful it was, and my dad was all smiles the entire night. If you are on the fence about booking this place, let me help you decide. Do it. You will not regret it. This was hands down the best experience ever!

Perfect base for visiting Sacramento and surrounding areas. Accommodation was excellent and was perfect for what we required. Close to local amenities and restaurants. We would recommend staying here.

Robyn’s place was perfect for our visit to Golden 1 to watch the Kings play. It was easy access to the arena, safe, clean, and quiet. Would stay there again!

The space was beautiful and very clean and Jeanne was very responsive. There’s also a nice walking path nearby if you have dogs. Highly recommend.

Serene & absolutely beautiful everywhere you look. Very Comfortable bed, quiet & so relaxing. Loved how remote, private & out in the country it is. And also close to downtown & stunning hikes to the rushing American River & waterfalls. A must see & visit. Steve was so helpful & responds right away to help. He let me borrow his kitchen oven to bake bread- so nice & welcoming.

Cynthia’s place was cozy and relaxing. The spa was so nice to relax in. We walked to restaurants from the house. We love the Land Park neighborhood. It was quiet and the place was just as described. We even got to meet Toby.

I loved my stay at Susan’s! Was very easy to locate and get inside. Susan was responsive and the description of the stay was accurate. Great location with a trail running behind it.

Lindsay’s place was great. It was easy to find, easy to check in and out of. Lindsay was very communicative and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed again at Mike's place for our annual event in Folsom. We loves this house and it always feels like home. Thanks for accommodating our group again! :-)

Carol’s space was so cute and serene. The garden outside of the Inkling is so beautifully done and such a nice view to wake up to when opening the window panes. The inside was tastefully decorated, linens felt nice and clean and cozy, and we slept well each night! The surrounding neighborhood proved to be a very nice area to stroll and see wildlife (deer, bats, snakes!) and a 10-15 minute drive to any stores, coffee shops, etc. A wonderful getaway if you’re okay with not walking to restaurants/shops - the trade off is tranquility and nature, and it was so worth it! I have been staying here for a few years. I stay here on average 4 times a year. My dogs love staying here! They poke their heads out the window when I pull up to the gate, and happily bark. We take walks around the pasture. The Hosts' dogs loves to greet us with barks of joy. I love feeding their horses apples. They will follow me around the fence line demanding more snacks. It is in the country but very close to stores. This is a great place for those that want to be out of town but need to be close to Sacramento or Davis. This area is part of the Delta which means water is nearby. Mosquitoes are plenty in shady areas but so are birds. The last time I was there, I did hear a seal!! That surprised me! Peacocks like to make themselves heard down the road. I have seen coyotes in the area. I watched one of the horses chase a turkey out of the pasture. I have enjoyed moon watching many times here. The sunsets are beautiful! The house is comfortable and clean. You can sit outside.

Stay here. I booked Colleen's place for an extended stay (almost 6 weeks) and it was perfect. Cozy (but not too small!), private, clean, well-supplied, well- and thoughtfully-appointed, lots of sunshine, quiet street, conveniently located. And then there's the patio. Cute, comfortable, just enough sunshine, great place for morning coffee, a good book and great conversation. Colleen was easy to communicate with and always responsive. I highly recommend staying at Colleen's place.

Fawsia's place was amazing. Her and her husband Ash are wonderful people who greeted us when we arrived with their lovely extremely friendly dog Max. The place inside is beautifully designed with wonderful African art. We felt at peace and welcomed in this space and very appreciative of them to open up their one of a kind sanctuary to spend the weekend at. Whenever we have an activity to attend in Elk grove we will stay again. Wonderful people and atmosphere. Everything was perfect.

Prior to check in all the way through check out, Christian was an extremely communicative host. I really appreciate that there were very clear instructions for everything. Some of us were flying in from out of state and Christian was very accommodating with an early check in. This place is huge and spaciously laid out. We hosted dinner for 12 people multiple nights and with so much space, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Our group spent a ton of time outside-enjoying the relaxing pool and lounging area. The property is maintained and beautiful. We had 3 kids with us who were obsessed with this house! Christian has so much for the kids to do that they never got bored. Seriously - between the cinema room upstairs, pool, water slide, sports outside, foosball, there was never a dull moment which is really saying something for kids! I’d stay here again when I’m in town in a heartbeat. Thank you Christian and your family for the wonderful stay, we sincerely appreciate it

We recently stayed at Don and Kathy’s beautiful home for our son’s wedding weekend and it was absolutely magical. Don and Kathy were incredibly hospitable, always easy to reach, and made us feel so welcome. The home itself is stunning—truly something to experience. The home is well-appointed and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style for a truly relaxing stay. The surroundings felt straight out of a Hallmark movie, with autumn leaves falling and twinkling Christmas lights creating a festive atmosphere. It was cozy, inviting, and felt just like home. We can't wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you, Don and Kathy, for making our special weekend even more memorable!

The place was spacious, clean, and so comfortable. Best of all, it was at the perfect distance for cycling to Sac State. We were able to enjoy cooking in the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and even took advantage of the garden and splash pool. Also, I was grateful to have a desk to work at. Honestly, there were so many wonderful aspects of our stay that I could go on and on. Needless to say, we loved every minute of it. Thank you to our host, Marwa, for providing such with a fantastic experience!

This was a peak experience staying at this beautiful historic home and expansive property. Kathleen couldn’t have been more helpful and warm before and during our magical stay. There is so much to do on the property that you won’t want to leave. The heated pool was awesome even in Feb and we played with all the games in the garage on the courts too. We picked fresh citrus from the orchard and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We were 15 guests who stayed overnight and everyone had a bed, but there is much more room for additional guests beyond what we had. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the beds so comfortable. She and her team have really thought of everything! We will not hesitate to go back for another family gathering soon!

Sandy's house is clean, comfortable, and absolutely lovely. A group of 4 of us had the house for 5 nights while attending a conference at UC Davis. The house was conveniently located (2 miles / 10 minute drive) and our check-in / check-out process was smooth. Sandy was so flexible about the check-in and check-out times as well, which made our trip all the more manageable. Leading up to our stay and throughout the visit, Sandy was always available and responded promptly to any questions or concerns. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent option for a family/group wanting to stay together and possibly have a few people over for small gatherings. We booked this house because my family wanted to stay together while we were in town for a funeral. It was perfectly located for where we wanted to be. We found the house and yard to actually be bigger than it appears in the pictures! We accidentally missed the note that the pool isn't heated, but we were okay with that because the days were warm enough to take a few cooling dips! The area is very close to the highway, but also very peaceful and quiet and we were able to spot the turkeys and the peacock that live in the neighborhood. It was nice to have two full baths available for the size of our group. We also took advantage of having washer and dryer available. The only negative that we found was that there was one bed that nobody was able to sleep in because it was very uncomfortable. We were able to overcome that issue by having one person sleep on the couch.
