The Red Lion pub is a short stroll away, as is the community village shop/post office. The” Cathedral in the Peak” Tideswell is just 0.6 mile away. Beautiful walks,cycling and relaxation await you from your doorstep. Chatsworth House, Hadden and Thornbridge hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach, as is the Monsal Trail.

Foolow (originally "la foulowe" - 1284) meaning a hill frequented by birds, is one of the hidden gems of the Peak District. Within easy travel to many Peak District attractions and walks. Situated on the edge of the historic village of Eyam. 'The Tack Shed' is a well equipped, yet rustic, camping barn adventure or retreat, with a woodburner to keep you cosy; hayloft bedroom and a composting loo across the yard. It's in a field and next to a woodland nature reserve with a wealth of wildlife. There are lots of great walks from the doorstep and It's a two minute stroll into the village where you'll find a shop, post office, and several places to eat.

It has its own private garden surrounded by drystone walls and amazing views of the surrounding area. Designed and finished to a high contemporary standard while also maintaining the heritage of the 1930s railway carriage. Surprisingly spacious it has an en suite shower room, kitchen, sofa, a wood burning stove and a double bed.
