Great location, very walkable. Close to a popular bar but noise was minimal. Parking was great! The lot seemed to fill up at night but we parked and then Ubered if needed so it wasn’t an issue.

Wonderful hosts and the cutest boho chic beach villa on a corner lot with the most amazing little screened in porch out front and huge yard for entertaining or just hanging out in the back. I parked the car and didn’t need to until we left because everything was in walking distance. I can’t wait until next time!

Exactly what the soul needed. I appreciate the walkability of this location and all the household amenities making my stay extremely efficient and comfortable! The well fenced in yard was also a must while traveling with my beloved dog. Absolutely would stay here again and am looking forward to my next travel into the region!

We had a fantastic stay, but what truly made it unforgettable were the wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome—sharing great local tips and thoughtful touches like homemade banana bread that made it feel like home. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The location was ideal for exploring, with plenty of places just a short walk away. We also loved seeing their friendly dogs—they brought so much joy. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Had a great stay at Bryan’s place! It was perfect for our long weekend in Charleston for a music festival. The bed was comfortable and the massive shower was great after a long day outside!

The location of this rental is right above King Street shops, and within walking distance to just about everything in downtown Charleston. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, pretty and modern. A burner had been left on in the kitchen (glad we caught it when we checked in!), and the great downtown location comes with a LOT of street noise. If you stay, bring earplugs.

The apartment was beautiful, historic, and well-maintained. It was within feet from delicious coffee shops, restaurants, and steps from King Street. The hosts responded quickly when I requested an early check in and were very accommodating. We hope to return to Charleston too and would definitely stay in this apartment again! I would highly recommend if you want somewhere that feels authentically Charleston while also being comfortable and clean, and the location can’t be beat!

We throughly enjoyed this traditional Charleston duelling. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch , and the easy access to bars and restaurants. A place we felt safe and comfortable staying in .

We had a fabulous stay at Gordon's place. Great location and easily walkable to more local restaurants and a longer walk to French Quarter. Gordon was very responsive. It was exactly as described. Loved having coffee already there for us to enjoy in the morning. My husband enjoyed sitting outside and reading. We would definitely come back at a future visit!

Great Airbnb and a great location! This is a prime spot in Charleston and is super walkable. It was so nice to have a spot included as parking can be difficult in Charleston. The beds were comfy and everything was very clean. The only downside is that it is location directly next to a very busy/popular restaurant (gets loud when the restaurant is open) and fire station. Thankfully the restaurant is not open very late so it gets quiet by bed time.

This town home is in a wonderful location. Ubers are available late into the night for a fairly low fare. If you drive it’s just a short drive to downtown and you pay for all day parking and walk everywhere.

Had a great visit. Enjoyed our stay. Only one complaint the one morning the gate wasn’t opening when called and it took about 15 minutes to get inside we finally went in the exit gate when someone came out. But I do believe there was a problem with gate as others couldn’t get in either.

We brought our dog with us and it was fantastic the place is so great the neighborhood is adorable so walkable everything from the beach, Charleston, and Daniel Island is all 10/15 min everything was fantastic and every local we met was beyond nice! Such a cute town we will definitely be back!!

We stayed in the downstairs 2 bedroom unit A. The property is located not too far North from downtown taking approx 20-30 min to walk to the historical district. There is a small convenience store a block away and a very popular bagel / coffee shop right next door. Holey Bagels. This old home has been renovated with pretty colors, the kitchen and bathroom seemed new as well as the decor. As with any old home it has its quirks but it’s part of the Charleston Charm. The amenities provided are really nice, popcorn, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, laundry pods, dishwasher pods to name the basics but the attention to details like, q tips, cotton pads & ear plugs are what sets an airbnb apart and the details are all there at Rutledge Retreat. It is important to note that one of the bedrooms is on the street and can be quite noisy even at night, with the traffic stopping at the red light and the fire trucks going by, the provided earplugs came in handy.

Great option for a Charleston trip! It was exactly what my husband and I needed for our stay, felt very safe, was walkable if you want to walk, and plenty of Uber/Lyfts available if you’re going a bit further. They provided everything we needed and were responsive as well! Very cute place that we would be happy to stay at again!

This place was absolutely stunning, the interior design was top notch, and that is an understatement. By far the most beautiful home I have ever seen, and it was organized and spotless upon arrival. Very much worth every dime I paid. Kerim is an amazing host, he’s responsive, very kind, and polite. I will definitely be staying again!

The house, scenery, and folks were amazing! From the decor and well thought out art to the quick and kind responses from the hosts, we were beyond satisfied! Would love to stay again!

There were so many extra touches that made this place special. It had a great breakfast bar with coffee, tea, snacks, filtered water and they provided muffins and cookies also. It had a lovely porch and we enjoyed using the deck, pool and hot tub to relax. Large closet to hang clothes and a comfortable bed and linens. Everything was quite clean. The location was perfect for us - easy to get to downtown, North Charleston and our friends in West Ashley. Neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk around with lots of mature shade trees. We would happily stay here again!

This is the perfect location if you want to be downtown. We were 5-20 min away from the best restaurants, the beach, historic sites, and many more. I loved this private location and would definitely stay again.

This Air BnB was exactly what we were looking for! The community was adorable, especially with the coffee shop right down the road. The beds were super comfy which is always a plus when staying at an Air BnB. Only thing was a bit inconvenient was that there were no hangers in any closets to hang up any clothes. Other than that, the perfect stay!

Great place super clean and nice! Pool is right outside for ease of use. Beach is a little bit of a drive but just a few minutes you could probably walk if you don’t have a bunch of beach gear. Responsive host and easy pleasant check in process!
