Nice roomy static caravan, with a grand view of the 14th hole of the golf course and a very short walk to Nairn's east beach. Facilities were great - comfy bed, good shower, full-sized cooker plus microwave, big fridge-freezer, washing machine and even a dishwasher (I didn't use that, just assume it works). The sitting-room furniture has seen better days, but was supremely comfortable. Nice big deck. One tiny niggle is that the wifi isn't free, but I just used my phone data instead. Communication was excellent. Overall, highly recommended.

I went with 12 family members and pictures don’t do justice to this fantastic spot! Absolutely would recommend to everyone. Very peaceful surroundings so many things to do inside and outside the lodge. Alan was really really helpful answered pretty much straightaway to every message I sent. Not a single cobweb in sight around the whole lodge and this place is huge! All the facilities and amenities you need are located within the house.

We really enjoyed our one night stay. Clean, tidy and everything that we needed for a long weekend getaway!

We keep returning and every trip is fantastic! This was our 4th stay at Alexander’s cost cottage and every trip has been the same - the view is beautiful whatever the weather, the cottage is spotless and you can access the pool for an hour each day you’re there. If you need to message for any reason, they respond very quickly and nothing is too much trouble. The shower is amazing, there is a fixed shower head and one you can hold yourself and the latter is the best one. It’s like an acupuncture session and a wash at the same time! It’s powerful and fantastic. The cottage has got such a homely feel and is so comfortable. There is a garden at the front that my son loves running around in. It’s perfect for us. We will be back again before too long!

We enjoyed a fun, family holiday using all the resources the property had to offer. Use of bikes for local exploring, walks along the beach where we experienced fabulous sunsets. Access to the spa and gym kept us and our children aged between 14 - 20yrs active and entertained along with the tennis courts. Michael and Susan made us feel very welcome as they met with us upon arrival and even spoke with us before to recommend places of interest along with best dining in the local area. They were also contactable during our stay and met our requests immediately for the use of a bicycle pump when unfortunately one of the bikes got a flat tyre. Michael even lent us his own personal bike, going above and beyond to make sure we all had an enjoyable time. We would happily return and know this place now has a special place in our hearts because of the fond memories made there. Enjoy!!

A wonderful place - we regretted not booking it for longer. It was very spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was a separate area for washing and drying our clothes after our hill walk. It was fantastic, and we’ll definitely recommend it!

Great location. Close to downtown area with shops and restaurants. Also close to trails. Host was extremely helpful and arranged for the return of an item left behind by my daughter.

Third stay at Sheila's cottage. It really is a home from home. It is so clean and comfortable and smelt amazing! We had great weather this visit and sat outside in the suntrap garden. It is an easy walk to the shops and there are plenty places to eat. Only a short drive to some of the best beaches in the world. Cannot recommend this place enough.

No. 9 Carrbridge was fantastic and Gillian was a exceptional host - I had friends visiting Scotland from abroad and they were so thankful to visit Carrbridge and the highlands of Scotland. Much Haggis and Whisky was devoured :D The cottage itself was very homely, warm and well decorated. Thanks again Gillian

The property was exactly as described and was ideal for our purpose which was a family get together. Sandra was very helpful at all times and I would recommend her property without hesitation

Beautiful setting for our extended family to prepare for our son’s wedding. Lots of space and multiple bathrooms to prepare and afterwards relax.

Stayed here while studying minke whales (or lack there of until May-ish) and dolphins in the area. Kiddos will probably love the bunny coat hanger. I stayed in the top bedroom which is the one next to the bathroom, a nice place and the bed is soft :)

Great house. Bug soacious rooms, everything you could want. Would highly recommend if in the area.

Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

An idyllic location, and beautiful home. We felt welcome and relaxed right away, thanks to Jonquil and Simon's clear instructions, and easy going presence on the property. The cute baby cows and lambs nearby added to the experience. Would highly recommend.

Archie went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience in Nairn. His place is as described and has everything you need for a long or short stay. He is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a short tour so we knew what was available. Nairn is very walkable with a beautiful beach walk. It is easy to get to Inverness and a great area to base out of for day trips in the north.
