We really enjoyed staying at David’s little cottage in Troy. David was very accommodating, even offering to bring us a pizza when a storm caused an afternoon power outage! Unfortunately it was just a little too cold for the fire pit! We explored nearby Pleasant Grove Park and antique stores in Palmyra and Gordonsville.

Lisa was a very good host and responded to my messages in a reasonable amount of time. The house was nicely decorated and spacious for our group (5 people). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The location actually turned out to be better than originally thought for what we wanted to see and do. We were basically 10-15 minutes away from downtown Charlottesville, wineries, and Monticello. We had a great time and plan to come back.

This home is a gem. The house is clean and well stocked with basic necessities. The host is responsive. It is the cleanest air bnb we have ever experienced. The moulding was even dust free. The view is unhindered, beautiful and can be enjoyed from the hot tub. It is private, secluded, and peaceful. The river bank entrance is easily accessed but not a place to set up for the day by the river. Not a complaint just an observation for those who might be seeking that experience. We loved this place and highly recommend.

The location was perfect for us. We were visiting friends that lived in Charlottesville and Louisa. Very easy access to Interstate 64 that made it easy to get around. As well as places to eat out and shop. The house was comfortable and clean. Jennifer was a great host.

My fiber splicing team stayed here and felt right at home, it was a pleasurable location to relax after a long days work. Thank you for the hospitality.

Our stay at the Happy House was perfect for our family gathering. There were plenty of comfy beads and space for us to spread out in the house. Everything was clean and all amenities where they should be. Derrick was very nice and responsive and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again!

Carolyn's place was very clean and quiet. The decor is on the older side, but everything worked well and was very comfortable. Easy to walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants, which was wonderul! Also very nice to have our own driveway for convenient parking.

Spacious basement with ability to cook and do laundry. Just what I needed for the week! Loved that I could walk out onto the greenway for walks and runs. Easy and plentiful street parking.

Peter was responsive and generous. I was visiting Charlottesville and he offered his own oven for me to make some dishes. His place is clean and was nice and warm during the cold nights. I would stay here again when visiting. Thanks Peter for being a great host.

Lisa is a fantastic host! Her place is nestled in a quiet residential section not far from downtown Charlottesville. The place was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. What really made the stay great was Lisa's attention to detail (e.g. providing a a few snacks, automated lights in strategic places, extra blankets and linens were easy to find, and a cell phone charger provided in convenient location). Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed it! Walking distance to all of downtown, the train was a little loud but not too bad!

Beautiful location, up the hill from the water! Great fishing and easy to get around the local area! House was spotless and smelled clean when we walked in. Bed was comfortable! They've thought of everything! Will visit again!

We had great stay at the Townie. The apartment had everything we needed including coffee, filtered water, and snack bars. It’s literally just around the corner from the downtown mall. There’s free concerts Friday evenings in the summer. That was a fun surprise. Keep in mind there are stairs in this older building, on street parking, and 2:00 am noise when the bars let out (the white noise machines in each bedroom helped!). That said we would definitely stay again.

This place was well equipped didn’t have to worry about bringing any spices in a condiments. The bathrooms are well equipped, nice towels, comfortable beds. I highly recommend it and you can walk to the river.

I have absolutely no reservations recommending Angelique’s Airbnb. We had a terrific two months stay here, Angelique is very responsive, property is as described. It has comfortable beds and living room and even walkable to the closest shopping area. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in Charlottesville

I booked this for my family the day and everything went completely smooth as if it was booked days in advance. They even still offered early check-in if I needed it. Very quick to respond to questions. Location is absolutely perfect if you still want to be close to necessities. Kroger less than 5 minutes away. Just perfect! I was a little concerned with the noise level of our two year old but never got any complaints which was such a relief!
