Karla and her place was a gem and an amazing find outside of La Fortuna. We did not want to stay right in the main town and definitely not at the resorts. This was the perfect blend of local vibes, nature, and amenities. The backyard is beautifully landscaped and very relaxing to come home to after full adventure days. The photos do not capture how gorgeous the scenery is. If Karla's place is available then you should definitely book it - pura vida!

Wir waren zu viert für vier Nächte in der Unterkunft und waren mit der Ausstattung sehr zufrieden. Es ist allerdings sehr hellhörig und die Toilettenspülung war sehr laut.

Los anfitriones son muy amables, nos ayudaron mucho con recomendaciones del lugar. La casa es tal cual sale en las fotos, es muy limpia, cómoda y acogedora. El barrio es muy tranquilo, y está muy bien ubicada cerca del centro de la fortuna y lugares con termales.

We stayed at the Dragonfly for three nights and it was great! Warning to those who plan to sleep in the lofted space, the area is very tight and would be best for kids or short people. Also the AC doesn’t quite reach the lofted space but we still had a comfortable sleep. Overall I’d definitely recommend if you’re visiting La Fortuna!

Wonderful place. Exactly what we signed up for. Amazing helpful hosts. Margarita and Jose were prompt on responses for questions and very helpful, and the home was well stocked with supplies and things needed. It’s about an hour drive one way to la Fortuna for some adventures, but doable and very much appreciated to have some quiet after the town.

I would recommend this place to anyone. It was just what we were looking for. The jacuzzi in the room was a gem. We were able to park right in front of our room. It felt safe and it was near town. Very kind staff… they ironed one of my shirts. 🥹

Rebeca fue muy amable! Cuando llegué al hospedaje fue mejor que las fotos, la cocina muy limpia, baño impecable, las ropa de cama muy limpia y olía muy bien, este último punto cuesta mucho que se aplique en otros lugares cuando uno se hospeda solo por una noche (como en mi caso). Súper céntrico y cómodo! Mi recomendación: no lo pienses más! Este es definitivamente el lugar que tienes que reserva en La Fortuna Centro! Cuando tenga la oportunidad me voy a volver a hospedar aquí definitivamente!

Fue una buena estancia. Tuvimos un problema con la ducha y el anfitrión nos resolvió incluso más de una vez. Increíble atención, respetuoso y muy atento. Nos volveríamos a quedar sin duda. 🤍

Excelente alojamiento, muy cómodo y bien equipado. Ubicado a pocos metros de una avenida principal con muchos locales comerciales y gastronómicos. El lugar es muy limpio y la zona tiene mucha privacidad y se siente segura. Nuestro anfitrión John fue muy atento, la comunicación fue excelente. Nos asesoró y gestionó actividades y excursiones muy bien, así que no duden en consultarle y contratar a través suyo. Super recomendable para una estadía en este lugar maravilloso llamado La Fortuna.

El acomodamiento tiene todo lo necesario. Es más grande de lo que parece en las fotos. Está en muy buen estado y se nota que se esfuerzan por entregarlo bien, hasta le hacen figuras a las toallas y al papel.

We loved how close to town we were but still seemed private and secluded! The area was calm and quiet we loved having breakfast outside our cabin! The area surrounding was stunning the inside was spotless !!! We also met their friendly little kitten! Place was awesome can’t stop thinking about it can’t wait for the next time we are in La Fortuna.!

Jason was a great host. Extremely helpful, included a lot of detailed information. The apartment is huge. Very cool place. The pictures are great and it's even better. It's private but walkable to almost everything. One of the nicest places I've stayed. Definitely stay here.

Lourdes' apartment was perfect for us. We liked that it is a quieter area so there was no road noise but we could still easily walk to the restaurants and shops downtown. The parking spot right in front of the apartment was very convenient. A/C and wifi worked well and, although we did not cook, it was nice to have a small kitchen with a coffee maker and microwave. Lourdes was so sweet and even gave us some delicious yuca fritters that she had made. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

Muy contentos con la estadía. Muy cómodo el apartamento, cerca del centro y como en nuestro caso nuestro carro es eléctrico, la estación de carga rápida está al frente del apartamento. Pudimos cargar el auto. Cómo es la única estación de carga rápida de la Fortuna, hay que tener un poco de paciencia porque es muy utilizada! Como plan b hay cargadores de carga media en el parqueo de Adifort en el centro y también lo utilizamos sin problemas, solo se paga el tiempo que se dure en el parqueo! Volveremos sin dudarlo!

Her får en mye for pengene. Leiligheten vi bodde i var fin. Den lå fredelig til. Ingen støy. Samtidig en kort spasertur til sentrum. En god restaurant like ved. Området hadde god trygg parkering. Jeg vil definitivt anbefale dette stedet. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake. Det beste stedet jeg har bodd på i La Fortuna. Kan anbefales. Aircondition og velutstyrt kjøkken. Sengene var gode. Sofaen og tv var upåklagelig. Vi hadde det helt supert. Tusen takk for oss.

El alojamiento fue exactamente como estaba descrito. La zona es muy tranquila, perfecta para desconectarse del mundo y descansar. Estuve allí con mi familia y todos disfrutamos muchísimo. Las camas son súper cómodas y todo estaba impecablemente limpio. Sin duda, un lugar al que nos encantaría volver.

Die Unterkunft ist super zentral gelegen und bietet alles, was man braucht. Direkt vor der Tür gibt es einen Parkplatz, und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gleich um die Ecke. Wir konnten sogar sehr früh einchecken, da es uns gesundheitlich nicht so gut ging – das war eine grosse Hilfe. Auch die flexible Verlängerung unseres Aufenthalts hat wunderbar geklappt. Veronika ist eine grossartige Gastgeberin und hat uns ihre Unterstützung bei Übersetzungen angeboten, als wir einen medizinischen Zwischenfall hatten. Vielen Dank für alles!

Great place right in the centre of La Fortuna. Very secure apartment - had everything we needed! Would highly recommend

Eine sehr schöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete, Wohnung in der wir uns die letzten acht Monate richtig wohlgefühlt haben. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, es fehlt nichts. Waschmaschine, Trockner, zwei Bäder und stabiles Internet waren uns sehr wichtig. Ein Balkon bietet Sonne am Morgen, der andere bietet Mittagssonne und einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Eine wunderbare Aussicht in guter zentrumsnaher Lage, sehr ruhig und mit netten Nachbarn runden das Ganze ab. Empfehlenswert auch für längere Aufenthalte. Vielen Dank, David!
