Take it easy at Wildacres Cabin-a unique and tranquil getaway. Leave the city and traffic and view a night sky full of stars. Hike and explore all 62 acres. You might see rabbits and deer as well as beautiful wildflowers & songbirds. There are 2 ponds where you can catch small fish just be sure to bring your own fishing equipment. Enjoy yourselves at the outdoor firepit, or eat at the picnic table after you've grilled your meal on the BBQ pit. Inside there are boardgames, cards & puzzles.

Domovina Ranch Cottages ("The Hemingway")

We offer two beautiful cottages (The Hemingway and The FW) that are located on 50 acres at the end of a dead end road. Surrounded by thousands of privately owned acreage, featuring abundant wildlife (deer, turkey, birdwatchers paradise). This is a working cattle ranch so you can take in sunsets as cattle graze in front of you. Cottages are newly built and fully furnished. Lofts for reading, custom tile showers, outdoor fire pits and lounge area. Cottages are located away from main house.

300Ac Baugh Farm btwn Austin & Round Top

Our family is moving into our 3rd generation of enjoying this 300-plus acre farm. It offers lots of space and a century old farmhouse for peaceful country nights. Bring your walking shoes to explore as numerous trails are available. We also have three well-stocked tanks for fishing. Separate from the house rental, we also have Syler Hall, a barn that's perfect for events, such as weddings and family celebrations. Cabin's decor based on local legend & Broadway hit, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, replete with the madam's bed. Fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, & dishwasher. BBQ on the outdoor propane grill and enjoy a campfire under the stars (bring your own firewood). 2 miles off highway. Pets OK with a $25 per pet fee. Up to three. Enjoy the lovely setting of this beautiful spot in nature. 1 Small barn dominium all to yourself. Make yourself at home and enjoy exploring the trails and creek on the property. This cabin is equipped to sleep 4 - 6, 1 Queen, 1 Full size and 1 Bunk bed with a bottom Full size and top twin. Feel free and breathe and enjoy nature! also just to mention no large gatherings or parties allowed.

The Otto House

The Otto house is walking distance from downtown Schulenburg and has a cozy, quaint feel. The house has 2 bedrooms, one with a full bed and the other a queen, along with a futon in the living room. We currently do not have a TV or Wifi, but what better way to get away from the bustle of everyday life and enjoy the peace and quiet of small town life.

Perfect escape! Custom built cabin nestled in the woods. Tranquility awaits you among the beautiful trees, wildlife and star gazing. Although we do live on the 20 acre property, the cabin is secluded and the surrounding grounds and pond is completely fenced. No pets please. NO CLEANING FEE!
