The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Beautiful location, cozy, relaxing and peaceful. Property had everything we needed. Stunning views from the Hot Tub. Host recommend booking a meal at local hotel and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend Brae Cottage.

Windyheads Bothy is a wonderful getaway. It has fantastic views and is surrounded by wildlife. There’s a fabulous widescreen fireplace which kept the living room nice and toasty. The place was great for a big family holiday.

Really lovely home and they went above and beyond to make it hospitable with all the extras given to make our stay that much more memorable and meaningful! Thank you for creating this farm oasis!

Wonderful cottage, roomy, peaceful, and squeaky clean. Beautiful location too - highly recommended.

We stayed here for a week with our grown children and their partners. Alasdair's cottage was perfect. It immediately felt cosy and comfortable. The games barn was a fun addition, and a great place to store our bikes when not in use. We got the hot tub going and once up to temperature it was easy enough to keep it ticking over for several evenings. The kitchen was well appointed, enough utensils, crockery and pans for us to cook each night. The cottage is next to open fields and farm land with quiet roads that lead to Cublin Forest. This was an amazing place to explore on foot and on bike, especially the peninsula that runs along the Findhorn Estuary and into the sea. Deserted beach and inquisitive seals. We also drove about an hour north to do some hiking at Glenmore in the Cairngorms. After our busy days adventuring it was always great to return to the cottage to relax and sleep soundly in the super size comfortable beds.

Our extended family have just had the pleasure of staying here for a long weekend. It provided a peaceful location for us all to unwind without any disturbance. The property was lovely and it is nice to see hosts invest in their property. Having stayed in many Airbnb's around the world, they are often lacking basic implements or only buying cheap crockery. If you are after a relaxing get away for your family then place this location on your wish list.

We had a lovely holiday in Boat of Garten with our kids (7 and 2). The cottage was perfect for our needs - plenty of space for the four of us, but still cosy, and within easy reach of everything the areas offers. We actually didn't end up using the garden much as we were out and about a lot but it's gorgeous and opens right onto the woods behind which was very magical for two city kids. Anderson's restaurant right next door was a bit of a bonus, too, since we could have dinner with the kids and then be home in 30 seconds! The sauna was a fabulous suprise (they hadn't installed it when we booked so we only found out on arrival) and we enjoyed using that after long days walking and carrying our toddler on our shoulders! Laura was super friendly and responsive, including posting my car key back to me after I stupidly left it in the bedside drawer. All in all, a great experience, and would thoroughly Laura's place, particularly to families.

A beautiful and relaxing home to have a perfect break. The host, Maureen has created one of the best Airbnb's we have ever used. Great communication and easy access. The home is high end furnished, comfortable and in a peaceful location. The garden was perfect to relax after long walks. The enclosed space perfect for our dog. Nice touch having tea, coffee and sugar on arrival. Aviemore centre was a 10 minute walk away and short drive to Rothiemurchus leading to a wonderful forest walk to Loch an Eilein. Just further along the road is Loch Morlich. Stunning in the sunshine with marked walking trails around the area. We will definitely use again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Aviemore area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous renovated cottage. We loved the decor and feel of the cottage, it was so cosy and comfortable and we loved having the indoor fire. Everything was just perfect. The owners are lovely and helped with everything we needed. Cute towns nearby to explore so it made for a perfect couple of nights on our travels.

We loved coming back to this beautiful cottage- wish we were there for longer, but we know we’ll be back!!

Crovie ist ein magischer Ort und Elaines Haus passt perfekt in dieses Dörfchen. Das Haus ist sehr sehr gemütlich und man hat alles, was man Braucht. Es gibt viele Bücher. (Wir haben einen, vielleicht etwas kitschigen, Roman, der in Crovie spielt und den wir in Elis Tearoom in Gardenstown gekauft haben, dagelassen.) Die Küche ist perfekt usgestattet. Elaine antwortet sofort, wenn es Probleme gibt. Danke!

A beautiful little cottage in the Cairngorms. Ideal location for local walks. Not too far from Aviemore and Grantown-On-Spey.

Again, staying at Liz's cottage, I felt as if I was at home, literally, as I was brought up 50 yards from there! Had a nice homely feel to it, with plenty of books and videos if necessary. Great walks along the river, only 100 yards from the cottage, and not to far into the town itself, with bars and shops there. Hopefully, I'll be back! Thanks Liz.

What a lovely wee cottage. We were greeted personally by Sharon and given a tour / orientation to the cottage. We felt welcomed and very much at home. Very spacious, cosy and comfortable. Clean and tidy, well kept. We were very happy. The bed is so comfortable and sleeping was fantastic with the quietness of the country side. It has a lovely wood burning stove but we did not use it. The bathroom has a level access shower and is designed for ease of use and safety for individuals with mobility limitations, including those who use wheelchairs. From the entrance through out the cottage it is one level and ideal for people with mobility limitation. We were very much impressed by the thought and care to make this a wonderful cottage. On the morning of our departure, Sharon and Graham both had a chat and saw us off with a friendly invitation to come back. Which we hope to see them in the near future. Thank you again

The location was walkable to local shops and restaurants and hiking trails. Harbor and beach was a stones throw away. Very clean and cozy. The beds were so comfy with high quality bed linens. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely wee hidden gem. Just spent a very chilled few days. Found the cottage cosy an comfortable and a good base for travelling to all local tourist attractions. Kath gos above and beyond as a Airbnb host,very thoughtful and considerate. Throw into the mix the surrounding neighbours whom are extremely friendly. All makes your time a wonderful stay.

Ann-Marie's Cosy Cottage was a excellent base for exploring the Cairngorms region. The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable and very peaceful. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Jacobite Bar and Grill in Kingussie (thanks to Ann-Marie's recommendation). We recommend Cool Cosy cottage in the Highlands.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. The cottage felt like a home not a holiday rental. It was beautifully decorated and everything felt as it if was carefully chosen and good quality. The cottage was spotless and all the information needed was provided. There were lots of areas around the cottage to sit and enjoy the surrounding woods and views across to the hills. Huge numbers of birds came to the feeders and we regularly saw red squirrels at their feeders. Although secluded, it was still within easy reach of Tomintoul and the local shops. A brilliant location to explore the Cairngorms and wonderful place to return to at the end of the day.

Great cottage to stay in. We loved being able to visit the spey side distilleries. Rachel had the travel cot for our toddler set up when we reached the listing. Nice neighbors and even saw a pheasant!

Great location away from the noise of the city centre, the cottage was lovely and clean and had very comfortable beds. I enjoyed the privacy and the surrounding views.

The cottage was a perfect place to meet our needs with Liz as host being flexible and most helpful. The cottage throughout is finished to a high spec and is beautifully appointed. Liz added many extra touches to make us feel at home. Although we were visiting relatives nearby, the location is perfect to explore Deeside and would be an ideal location for outdoor sports such as fishing, golfing & walking.

It was a pleasure to stay at Ingle cottage. It really feels like the host really cares, with thoughtful welcoming touches - fresh flowers, a few chocolates and coffee pods and milk in the fridge. The kitchen had everything needed - the knives were even sharp! The heating was easily adjusted - important in a Scottish Spring :) The garden is small but lovely with different spaces. The house is an easy walk to the beautiful beaches of Findhorn. Pubs, organic shop/cafe less than 5 minutes walk away.
