Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Rosanna's Strandhaus. Rosanna hat und herzlich begrüßt und wir haben uns direkt zu Hause gefühlt. Sie gab uns Tipps für Unternehmungen und war immer sehr gut erreichbar. Das Meer vor der Haustür ist wunderschön und sehr gut für kleine Kinder geeignet.

We had a great stay. Francesco who welcomed us gave lots of useful recommendations and was always on hand to help. The villa was as described. We loved the outhouse next to the pool and hot tub and enjoyed playing pool and cooking there. Our only downside was that there is no where to walk to nearby although this was warned of with a car being advised as essential. The beaches are 30-40 minute car journey away. We visited scala dei turchi, licata, valley of temples and Cefalu with Cefalu being a longer day trip (1.5 hours each way) but worth it. Thank you, we will back to Sicily I am sure!

Il nostro soggiorno nella “Casetta Perfetta “ di Marina è stato piacevolissimo, grazie a un ambiente accogliente dotato di tutti i confort, con attenzione alla pulizia e ai dettagli, superando le nostre aspettative: dispensa fornita, bevande in frigo e un bel cesto di agrumi di sicilia. La posizione strategica ci ha consentito di visitare il centro storico di Palermo a piedi, e di accedere facilmente a tutti i servizi. Marina è un host gentile e disponibile, sempre pronta a qualsiasi esigenza, dandoci anche ottimi suggerimenti su cosa visitare e dove mangiare. Consigliamo vivamente!

Andrea's place is lovely. After being in Napoli and Palermo for a week, it was a nice change of pace to be in the country. The pictures of the cottage do not do it justice. The cottage is quite a it bigger than the pictures suggest. The bed was comfortable and cozy. Our favourite part of staying at Andrea's was drinking wine and looking at the scenery. My husband and I would definitely recommend staying at this air bnb!

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans ce logement typiquement sicilien au charme rustique situé en bordure de Valderice, dans une petite exploitation d’oliviers, d’orangers, de citronniers, de vignes et de blé non traités. L’endroit est clos et calme, seul le chien peut gêner le sommeil. Il est possible d’y cueillir directement les fruits et nous avons pu goûter l’étonnant "lemon finger" qui se déguste à la cuillère. Nos hôtes nous ont offert un accueil chaleureux et ont partagé avec nous leur passion pour la culture et les spécialités locales. Tout a été pensé pour contenter le voyageur de passage, que ce soit avec l’équipement du logement ou avec les petites attentions que notre hôte a disposées dans la cuisine. Un grand merci pour les pâtes siciliennes et l’huile d’olive de leur production. Merci aussi pour les bonnes adresses, surtout celle de la pâtisserie Maria Grammatica à Erice!

Great place, certainly designed to enjoy in hotter weather so outside areas can be enjoyed and not put away with the wind as was the case with us! Unfortunately came on a stormy weekend beyond everyones control. Recommend hiring a car if staying with Maia, only 15 min walk from train station but area isn’t particularly pedestrian friendly and trains arent too often/didnt run past 9pm. But none of this the hosts fault, an oversight by myself. Thanks for having us, seeing the ocean from the bedroom was definitely a highlight!

Het verblijf bij Dario, was ons laatste appartement op Sicilië. De ligging is perfect om Palermo, Monreale en Mondello beach te bezoeken. Het appartement is nieuw en heerlijk groot. Wij waren met z’n tweeën, maar er zijn twee slaapkamers en twee badkamers dus heel geschikt voor vier personen. Naast dat het appartement prachtig is, is het belangrijkste om te vertellen: de enorme gastvrijheid van Dario en zijn vrouw. Bij aankomst stonden er brioche voor ons klaar, halverwege kregen we nog een lekkere wijn van de regio en bij ons afscheid heerlijke broodjes voor het ontbijt….. en het gaat niet eens om wat we kregen, het gaat nog veel meer over de vriendelijkheid en de bereidheid om te helpen, tips en adviezen te geven. Dario was GEWELDIG en voelde vertrouwd als waren we vrienden. Ik kan nog veel meer moois en goeds schrijven, bv over hoe netjes en schoon en nieuw het was… maar ik zou zeggen: ervaar het zelf. Dieses Haus ist ein Traum, aber alles der Reihe nach.Wir (ein Paar mit 2 Kinder, 4 und 7 Jahre) und zwei Omas sind abends spät angereist. Emanueles Eltern haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Plus sie hatten für uns was zu essen besorgt. Tolle Gastgeber und Goldwert wenn man mit Kindern anreist. Wir hatten einen riesen Spaß in diesem Haus. Das Wetter hat mit gemacht und wir haben den Pool genossen. Morgens auf der Veranda zu frühstücken war fabelhaft. Nicht mal 5Minuten entfernt ist der Strand, der für sizilianische Verhältnisse sauber war, und wir waren außerhalb der Saison dort. In paar Gehminuten entfernt ist der Bahnhof, aber für den Einkauf braucht man definitiv ein Auto. Cefalù ist 15 Minuten und Palermo 50 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Zum Flughafen braucht man 1 Emanuele hat immer schnell geantwortet und wir haben uns immer gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen🤩Eine absolute Empfehlung

The Adil’s apartment is like on the photos. The two principal rooms are big. One with 3 beds and the other one with 2 beds. The third room don’t have windows and a double bed. The kitchen is small, but enough for preparing a quick lunch or a breakfast. It is really near Central Station, so it’s very easy to arrive by train from the airport. Adil answers you quickly when you have questions and always try to help you.

Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Sergio et Stefania. Le logement est agréable, riche d'histoire et emprunt de l'esprit de Palermo. Les attentions de Sergio à notre arrivée : apéritif, visite de l'appartement et nombreux et judicieux conseils ont été formidables. Grazie per tutti ! La localisation permet de visiter les quartiers centraux de Palermo très facilement. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et serions très heureux d'y revenir. Lieu recommandé à 110 %.

Highly recommend staying here! We stayed for a week and it was a great base to enjoy Palermo from. The kitchen is well equipped and the balcony is great. I was working during the stay and the WiFi was very reliable. Michele was a great host and we would stay here if we were in Palermo again.

Alessandro was a great host. Always very responsive and even came late one evening when we had trouble with the lock. A very spacious flat. It was the only one on the floor so had lots of balconies, windows and light. It is within walking distance of all the sights in Palermo and lots of great restaurants. The flat was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Such a cute and quiet place to get away from the city just what we needed! Tania was so nice and we were able to hang out in the garden, pick the fig trees, have eggs from her chickens! Just incredible experience!

We’ve stayed in well over 125 Airbnb’s around the world and sometimes you find ones that stand out for you. This was one of them. From the beginning the communication was superb, Vincenzo met us in the square at the bottom of old town and took us to he and Nadia’s beautiful apartment in a quiet street in Agrigento. He helped us carry our luggage up the stairs, parking was free and right outside the door. The views were spectacular! The apartment had everything we needed for a very warm and comfortable stay. Nadia supplied us with plenty of recommendations for restaurants and bakeries as well as bus information for the short bus ride to the Valley of the Temples. Couldn’t recommend it more!

The apartment is located in the best Palermo’s area, everything reachable by foot and amazing bars and restaurants few minutes walking distance. The apartment is perfect for 2-4 people, everything you need is inside and it is super cozy and beautiful. On top of it, Enrico is a very helpful and kind host. I highly recommend this place.

This place was wonderful. It was homey and spacious and tastefully decorated. It was also perfectly located for visiting the historic center. I loved the wooden floors and marble staircases. For the size, it was an incredible value. For summer, there is air-conditioning. On the downside, the bathrooms and kitchen hadn't been updated. However, the bathtub on the second floor was huge and worth luxuriating in. The kitchen was tiny, but we didn't use it. We might have if the host had supplied a coffee maker and some coffee, which was done in the other apartments in Sicily we rented. Because we had trouble finding a nearby market, so we had breakfast in a café on the main street. A list of nearby services would have been welcome. Finally, as others have noted, there is some noise from the bar downstairs, especially on the weekend--even in March. We didn't mind it, but I imagine that in summer with windows open, it might be a problem. I would rent here again in a heartbeat.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable week and although we had a couple of problems they were addressed quickly. The location is beautiful, peaceful and private. The space was a perfect size for our family of four and we could have managed another two people easily. The pool was a bit cold in October but that was somewhat to be expected - the sea is warmer though. The house is finished to a very high standard. Whilst the drive to the property isn't for the feint hearted, it's worth it when you get there. There is a good but small supermarket about 3km away on the main road. Local highlights include Scopello which has a number of nice restaurants and a small private beach (where Oceans 12 was filmed). We enjoyed hiking in the nature reserve which is ~5km away and had nice secluded beaches to swim off (head further than the first beach). Further afield the salt pans in Trapani are good and we enjoyed a food tour of Balastrate and an olive oil/wine tour of the Augustali farm (through AirBnB)

Stunning Airbnb with spectacular views overlooking Scopello. The house is even nicer than the pictures. Beautiful pool, lovely sun porch on second floor, and hot tub was great for the cool early April nights. Sara, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful with recommendations. The house was in a very quiet, peaceful hamlet outside Scopello. It is tucked away down a gravel road, so it was very helpful to have Sara meet us near town and drive the last stretch to the house. We hope to return!

We lived in this beautiful villa for a month working remote. We loved everything in this house; the environment in the countryside but still close to nearby villages and beach, privacy, views and the house itself with everything you could hope for, and the garden. The house was very clean and tidy and it really felt like home. Communication was always perfect. We recommend 100%!

En dejlig uge i et hyggeligt og fredfyldt hus. Udsigten fra terrassen er utrolig smuk, og stedet passede også for børnene, da der var fin plads omkring huset, og legesager der dækkede behovet for vores 3 børnebørn ( 3 til 8 år). Poolen var flot og lidt kølig ( solen fik ikke varmet så meget). Eneste kritik er højden på køkkenbordet, og mangel på varmt vand på første sal. Men så badede vi blot i et af de andre baderum.

The views from the villa were absolutely stunning. We felt right at home and enjoyed making dinner and sitting outside on the patio. Pietro was so welcoming and even drove us to the grocery store so we could stock up on essentials. Would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Palermo to stay here. Private, comfortable, and beautiful. If you are able to rent a car, that is recommended. Note, an international driving permit (IDP) is required and needs to be obtained prior to renting a car.

We absolutely loved our stay. The villa was perfect for a large group of people. In our case, we had an extended (3week) family reunion with lots of people coming and going during that time. Vincenzo and his family were so welcoming and helpful and their restaurant and winery recommendations were fantastic. The facility is just as beautiful as it looks in the photos. It felt like we were living in a palace. The hot tub was wonderful especially for the younger crowd. Vincenzo arranged for a chef to come in one evening to cook a meal for us - it was absolutely delicious. Overall, a fantastic experience!

We loved staying at Roberto's place - he's a great host! We appreciated the pristine pool area (with a lovely, separate, bathroom) and the outdoor seating areas. We travelled with our 1.5 year old daughter and teenage sons - both the place, outdoor area and distance to the beach (easy to walk with a stroller!) turned out to be perfect for us. We really enjoyed our week and would come back any day!
