Cute updated home less than 5 miles from Denny stadium. Plenty of parking, large private fenced back yard, deck and screened porch with a TV. The home overlooks the park at the Veterans Affairs campus that has a public walking/jogging track. The track winds through to the University of Alabama's Arboretum. Our home is a duplex, it is 2 complete houses under one roof. We live in one end, the other ( the rental) has 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath/shower, living/dining room, kitchen, laundry room, closets. Plain and simple but cozy and relaxing. Kitchen with all accessories. Bed linens,bath towels, soap etc are furnished. Front porch: swing and a glider/rocker with west view. Pavilion in yard with picnic table, rocking chairs, small grill, and a fire ring. A country spot that is peaceful, birds singing.

The Lawrence Farmhouse

The 121 year old Lawrence Farmhouse was hand built by the Lawrence family in 1903 and is located on the Lawrence Farm in Fayette County, Alabama. The Lawrence Farm is a registered USDA and Alabama Century and Heritage Farm and has been in continuous agricultural production by the same family for over 150 years. The Lawrence farm is also a registered Alabama Tree Farm and Alabama Treasure Forest. The Farmhouse is often used by the family for stays during Hunting season.

Quiet Country Chalet

You are in for a treat with the best Airbnb experience. You will get to sleep on Purple mattresses in our queen rooms and Lulls in or twins. This is a two story home with 1 queen on the main floor and 1 queen and 2 twins upstairs. If you want to bring more than 6 guests, please let me know so we can put out a couple air mattresses. There is a grass airstrip right outside the house! Small planes occasionally fly in and out.
