Stayed in this cozy cabin for a chill Bachelorette weekend! It was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax. The views were phenomenal, especially from the hot tub, which was a big seller for us. As other reviews mentioned, it is very close to the Apple House, which we went to twice - once for breakfast and once for lunch. We also enjoyed getting pizza delivered from Anthony's Pizza. Its location was also perfect for visiting Chester Gap Winery and riding horses at Royal Horseshoe Farm. Finally, though a bit of a drive, we enjoyed the Bluegrass Bruch at Patty O's. We were a group of four and while on the smaller side, the cabin was just enough space for us and had everything we desired. Would definitely stay here again. Truly a great stay with communicative hosts!

Had a peaceful, relaxing weekend with the family at the cabin! Everyone loved the hot tub and the kids settled right in with the projector / game room. Leah was super responsive and helpful with our questions.

This was the perfect weekend getaway. So relaxing and the house had everything and MORE! Incredible view! We did some crafts, played games, made a pizza from scratch, danced to music on the google home speakers! It was truly an amazing and memorable experience. The home was just as described and Nancy was an incredible and kind host! So many extra towels that were so fluffy and clean! Very comfy beds! Robes! Felt like a luxury experience! Will hopefully stay again :)

Tom’s place is the perfect private cabin getaway! He is an amazing host and super quick to respond. The deck and hot tub are amazing, and having access to the community lake is such a nice addition! Perfect place for a peaceful family vacation.

A quiet, peaceful few days away with the family and dog. Morning coffee on the deck and evening sunset walks. Board games and quiet time to unwind. Fun grounds to explore. And very close to drive to fun breweries and Middleburg places to hang out if you want someone else to cook. Overall a very relaxing few days .

We had a wonderful girls’ weekend at the house. We enjoyed the outdoor space and hot tub. The house was spacious and very clean. Thanks for a memorable weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matt’s cabin! My husband and I used the kitchen table to play games all weekend. We also relaxed in the hot tub every evening. It was amazing to just sit in the quiet and relax for the weekend! We brought our dog with us and he loved all of the space to run! I would absolutely return!

Wonderful place for a peaceful getaway, with multiple things to do both inside and out. Kristy is a very responsive and friendly host - she helped us with clear instructions. Even when the hot tub seemed to stop working, the host provided a solution and had a maintenance person ready within 2 hours.

I was here for several months and it felt like home. The host is very responsive, kind, and easy to work with. The house is as described but some descriptions in the listing need to be updated. 100% recommended!!!

The setting and the log cabin were absolutely beautiful as described. James was a wonderful host and had everything we needed. We actually never needed to contact him. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to just relax and enjoy the beauty. There were lots of nice places to eat in the areaas well as recreation. Thank you for everything.

It was a wonderful place for our multi-generational family vacation! There was enough space where the kids could play loudly, but the adults could get quiet when needed. There was one minor issue and Matt and his team were super responsive and got the situation addressed quickly even though it was a holiday weekend.

Our experience at Ovoka Farms was amazing. The tour that we took with Mel was very interesting and we all the tasting. Best burgers I’ve ever had. Also, loved that there was lots to do in the area. Highly recommend a visit.

My boyfriend and I stayed for our anniversary and we loved every second of it. Joel is extremely responsive and when we couldn’t get the record player to work he was straight to the rescue. The nature and wildlife is beautiful all around and it was such a nice quiet getaway. The kitchen was great and we have never enjoyed cooking that much! Would recommend 100%!

The Grape Escape was wonderful, and Jackie added so many personal touches and surprises for our arrival. There is so much to do in the area, even though we just mostly relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful cabin. It was so well appointed and we had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back. ❤️

Everything we imagined — and more. Close enough to get to restaurants, stores, etc., and far enough to feel the city stresses slip away. From watching box turtles cross the drive to hearing the owls hoot and woodpeckers do their thing, it was marvelous.

The house has a great kitchen- really well-stocked. The outdoor space is sweet, with blooming plants and singing birds. We also appreciated the locale, proximate to DC and Shenandoah.

What an amazing house, the front balcony with the river view was beautiful. Quite happily sit there for hours watching the wildlife. What a lovely way to finish off our busy holiday by switching off for a couple of days and getting some much needed rest and relaxation before going back to the real world. The hosts were super helpful and we can’t wait to come back!

The photos don’t do justice to the experience. A stunning lake view in a cabin setting with tons of fun for the kids. We canoed on the lake, threw the football, cooked a steak meal and ended the evening with s’mores. All of this with driving distance from the beltway for an amazing staycation. I will definitely be back for a weekend getaway from the weekly grind.

We had an amazing stay at Crooked Tree Cabin. It was truly an incredible location surrounded by trees and nature. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and the cabin was comfortable and clean.Frances was a fabulous host….quick to respond to any communication and very helpful.We had such a great time we stayed an extra day . We hiked for 2 of the days in Shenandoah National Park which is a short drive away . It was an incredible experience and would like to come back someday. Book this place if you can you won’t regret it.

Very cool spot in the woods! Fire pit, sauna, and deck are top notch.

As all the other reviewers have said, this place is beautiful and Pat and Peggy were very friendly! They've got a great knack for creating a magical escape--we'll definitely be back.

Beautiful, spotless home - had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with two little kids. Great location close to park entrance and easy drive to Front Royal for restaurants, groceries, etc.

We found this hidden gem and needed a place to stay on a longer timeframe than normal for an average AirBnB stay. Rafael was amazing to discuss our needs and how he could accommodate us. We were allowed to bring our dogs with us, which made it feel like home. The home was cozy and well stocked with the needed amenities. The neighborhood was quiet and full of wildlife. The neighbors are also very pleasant and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and commuted to DC for work. The home is a quick 20 minute drive to University Lot to use the Omni ride bus service with free parking. We highly recommend this home if you are looking for a peaceful getaway or a stay with any easy 1 hours commute to the city.
