Pros: Great location with both metro and tram walking distance Apartment is clean Bed is very comfortable and neighborhood not noisy Host coordinated with a nearby hotel for luggage storage after checkout Cons: 1) if you’re hauling luggage with metro you’re going to have a really rough walk pulling luggage on steep cobblestone alleys no sidewalk, take a taxi. Once you get to the apartment the walks to anywhere are easy without luggage 2) checkout is 11 and check in 3pm. Host was a bit flexible and we checked in at 1:15pm, checked out 11:30am

We had a great time at Deniz’s place. Its look and feel were exactly how we expected - roomy, artsy, and homey. We had a very smooth check in despite later arrival. We received a warm welcome from the hostess Derya who was there to give us the keys and show us around. We received many local recommendations from her, and both Derya and Deniz were very responsive to our questions. The location of the place is perfect for a nice stroll in picturesque Cihangir. The neighborhood is lively, but our street was very quiet with excellent coffee shops just next door. A special heartfelt thank you to Derya who went above and beyond in communication with helping us with a lost item in an Uber on the way to the airport. Due to her efforts and fast proactive action, the item was delivered to her as she further facilitated its delivery overseas. With enormous gratitude we recommend these hosts and their place to anyone looking for comfort and good care in Istanbul.

Die 85 Stufen des alten Hauses lohnen sich zu erklimmen, denn man wird mit einem fantastischen Blick und einer schönen Wohnung belohnt. Die Badezimmer sind winzig klein, dafür hat man aber zwei wunderbare Terrassen, einen großen Wohnbereich mit einer praktischen Küche und zwei schönen Schlafzimmern. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wenn man die Fenster geschlossen hält, bekommt man den Trubel, der bis spät in die Nacht hinein zu hören ist aus diesem netten, sehr zentrale gelegenen Stadtteil, nicht mehr mit. Für junge Leute die das Party Leben von Istanbul genießen wollen, eine traumhafte Unterkunft. Nur wenige Schritte vom Ufer des Bosporus entfernt, rund um überall Restaurants. Efkan ist sehr bemüht und jederzeit ansprechbar und reagiert sehr schnell auf alle Fragen. Er ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Sogar die Heizung hat er uns angemacht, weil es an den Tagen recht frisch war, an denen wir da waren. Efkan und seine Wohnung sind zu empfehlen.

We loved our stay SO much! Very close to the best sights. The host was so helpful and arranged to store our bags for an entire day. The restaurant he co-owned is SO SO good! We ate there twice. Our favorite restaurant of our entire trip. House was very clean and check in went very smoothly. We would definitely stay there again!

Tao’s home is a charming entire house with a private entrance, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood. If you're a fan of Orhan Pamuk's novels, you'll recognize the area, and you'll be pleased to know that the Museum of Innocence actually exists and is located nearby. The house itself is full of character and unique details. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed traveling with a young child. There are three floors to navigate: the kitchen, dining area, and a shower are located on the ground floor, while the entrance, two bedrooms and a toilet are on the first floor. The second floor features the third bedroom with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Additionally, the entrance has a few steps as well. Tao is a very sweet, friendly and thoughtful host, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. Communication was seamless, and he provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Room very neat, 2 big bed 1 single bed , location very near to Galata, karakoy, Taksim. Host is very friendly behaviour . Only challenge we face toilet water pressure .. (manageable)..me and my family had a wonderful stay…. Host is very caring and quick response .. you will not get disappointed ..

I rented a house for two weeks. It is the center of Balat - around many delicious restaurants and small shops. Seyda and her family are very helpful. They helped me with everything. I had a problem with the nanny, and Sayda helped me solve it. They also make transfers to the airport. Communication with the host was as comfortable as possible: any shortcomings were corrected within a couple of hours. I am very satisfied.

Tolle Unterkunft. Eine bessere Lage hätten wir uns für unseren Besuch in Istanbul nicht vorstellen können.

Wir waren mehr als begeistert, als wir die Unterkunft und das Zimmer betreten haben. Alles sah aus wie auf den Bildern! Zudem war alles sehr sauber, das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Praktischerweise gibt es noch einen Kiosk und ein kleines Café im Untergeschoss der Unterkunft. Ein zusätzlich großer Pluspunkt waren der Pool und die Sauna, die ebenso sehr sauber waren. Ich würde diese Unterkunft - vor allem für diesen Preis - immer wieder weiterempfehlen.

Квартира очень удобно расположена по отношению ко многим историческим объектам. В 5 минутах ходьбы автобусная остановка, откуда можно доехать без пересадок до Египетского базара, а оттуда пешком, или на трамвае до собора Святой Софии, парка Гульхане, базилики Цистерны и пр. При желании, недалеко от квартиры до станций метро Шишане или Таксим. Сама квартира старой постройки, но оборудована всем необходимым для проживания. Соотношение цена/качество вполне нормальное. Следует отметить крутые ступеньки лестницы до квартиры. Пожилым людям будет тяжело по ним подниматься. В остальном всё хорошо. Спасибо хозяину Бешеру!!! Мы отлично провели время!

Our family of six absolutely loved our stay at Sinan's spacious apartment in Istanbul! The generous layout provided ample room for everyone, and the fully-equipped accommodation offered everything needed for an ideal city getaway. The location is truly exceptional - just minutes from the metro station and a short stroll to the tram line that takes you directly to the city center. Convenience is key with several small supermarkets literally steps from the front door. Sinan proved to be an outstanding host. His responsiveness was impressive, even when we arrived late in the evening. His kindness extended to arranging airport transportation for our departure, which made our trip ending stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting this magnificent city!

We had a wonderful stay at Gulsah's home. She was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Place is close to metro and short ride or nice walk to main attractions.

Erhan has been a great host and provided easy and straightforward instructions and advice. Was very responsive to our questions and requests too. Would definitely recommend his place to anyone who wants to stay in a homely environment instead of a hotel.

We had a great stay at Erhan's place. The apartment was clean and exactly as pictured. Erhan & his team were very responsive and did a great job of making me feel at home. The area was walkable to the metro as well as to surrounding areas like Beyoglu, Galata Tower area; in addition there were a ton of bus lines right outside our door. The washer/dryer was a huge help. I'd highly recommend a stay at this place!

Квартира полностью соответствует описанию, очень чисто, комфортно и уютно. При закрытых окнах уличный шум, практически, не слышен. Но мы так уставали, гуляя весь день по прекрасному Стамбулу, забывали эти окна закрывать и тоже нам шум помехой не был))). Кровать очень удобная и даёт возможность хорошо отдохнуть))). В квартире есть всё необходимое и даже больше))).
