Comfortable and cosy place to stay. People complained about the TV being in the small downstairs bedroom, but I thought it was very cosy and convenient to have it in there. The view out the window is great and you have a small local supermarket 1 minute walk away. There are also very nice hikes from the doorstep. I hiked to Fjallvatn lake which I can highly recommend. There are many other options. I would recommend this place!

Really nice house, smartly decorated and furnished. We loved staying here, exploring the area, then relaxing our tired legs in the hot tub. Would definitely stay again!

Elsebeth was very welcoming, giving lots of information and looking after her guests. The house was charming and spacious with everything you need. Moreover, it has fantastic views of the mountains on each side and is ideally located for close by hikes and exploring the North.

Wir vermissen das Bootshaus jetzt schon sehr und wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben! Die Atmosphäre und der Ausblick auf den Fjord sind atemberaubend, das Bootshaus ist nicht nur sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch luxuriös ausgestattet (z.B. elektrischer Kamin, Sauna, Airfryer, Fernrohr, HUE, Sonos). Wir hatten einen unfassbar schönen Aufenthalt und können jedem nur einen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft empfehlen! Es war traumhaft abends auf der Couch zu liegen und bei Musik und Kamin den Ausblick zu genießen. Wir hatten sogar das Glück einen Abend die Polarlichter sehen zu können und einen Tag bei purem Sonnenschein auf der Terrasse zu verbringen. Am liebsten würde ich das Bootshaus für immer bewohnen :-) Vielen Dank an die tollen Gastgeber - wir kommen hoffentlich irgendwann wieder!

The house location is stunning, especially when you out there in the hot-tub that is always kept at 38! The host is helpful and the house feels like home straight away. When travelling around we were always looking forward to come back home as the views from the living room and the tub are on par with the greatest views one has ever seen! Cannot recommend highly enough

A really nice place for those who would like to experience something Faroese. Kvívík is a perfect starting point for trips all over the islands.

Can’t beat the view of Klaksvik. Perfect location for sunny and gloomy days. We visited in off season and thoroughly enjoyed sipping our morning coffee and evening wine looking at ships coming and going.

Heerlijk huis op een fijne centrale locatie. Vanuit hier kun je allerlei uitstapjes maken. Petur en Maria zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzame gastheer en gastvrouw. Het is ook heel fijn dat we de wasmachine en droger mochten gebruiken. Het huis is ook heel gezellig ingericht en in de keuken is alles aanwezig om zelf een maaltijd te koken.

Jeg anbefaler denne fine lejlighed centralt beliggende i Thorshavn. Den dækkede fint vi 4 voksne menneskers behov for feriebolig Der var et velassorteret udvalg af basisting i køkkenet, så vi selv kunne lave mad. Parkering tæt ved. God vært.

This place was so lovely!! Very cute and extremely clean. Gunnvá was really nice and helpful, and we appreciated the extra little touches like milk and bread. The place had everything we needed- it was a short walk to downtown but was also very private and quiet and had parking.

Kirsten è una host perfetta. Ci ha accolti molto calorosamente dandoci tutte le informazioni sulla casa e i dintorni. Ci ha dato davvero ottimi consigli sui luoghi da visitare in queste fantastiche isole. La casa è stupenda: sembra di essere a casa propria. È davvero tutto pulitissimo e dotato di tutto ciò che serve: dagli asciugamani alle stoviglie. Uno dei migliori Airbnb in cui siamo stati sia come appartamento che come host. Davvero consigliato!

Highly recommend this place!! Jon is a great host. He is very welcoming, responsive and helpful. He answered our questions about the house and the local trails very patiently. The check-in and checkout process was seamless. The house is cozy, clean and lovely. We are a group of 4 and it fit us right in. The sofa bed is about the size of a queen bed so enough for two. The kitchen has all the utensils needed. The washroom is big and clean with good ventilation system. We really enjoyed our two nights here. The location of the house is perfect. It’s 7 mins to the airport and 5 mins to Bónus/FK supermarket. There’s also a restaurant few minutes away as well as the trail to Trælanípa. Thank you Jon again for the great stay! And thank you and your daughter so much again for kindly bringing our earphone to us near the airport. Saved our day :D

This apartment is the perfect location for a trip to the Faroes! It is located close to the center, easy to find and in a really quiet place! Holger and his wife were very helpful and answered our questions when we had any and gave us good tips and suggestions when we needed. I highly recommend this place ! We would definitely be back !

Nicolina and her husband are very kind to us, we had great time when we live there. The place is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, with two supermarkets just 5 minutes away by car. The house felt like home—three comfy bedrooms and a kitchen with everything we needed. Some tools were a bit old (like the knives), but the host even lent us their own, which was really kind. Only downside: the bed was too soft and the pillows too flat, so sleep wasn’t great. But overall, a lovely stay!

We enjoyed staying at Óluva's place! The location was perfect and we were easily able to go into town down the street, and it was a great location to base ourselves in the Faroe Islands! The view from the apartment was great and it was wonderful to have all the amenities (like a full kitchen and laundry) during our stay. We would happily stay here again when visiting the Faroe Islands!

Our stay at Andreas apartment was awesome! The apartment itself was modern, warm cozy, extremely clean and had everything we‘d ever needed. It was even better than the pictures and made us feel like home the second we entered! The view from the apartment and also the jacuzzi was breathtaking. Waking up to the sunrise with a lovely breakfast and then later on watching the sunrise from the jacuzzi after a nice sauna moment was an absolute zen-moment and can hardly be topped! We absolutely enjoyed every single bit of it - especially the peaceful quietness it came with. Andreas is an absolute amazing host! Very kind, very helpful and always reachable which made the whole stay even more pleasant and made us feel at home. His tips and insights really helped us during our stay and gave us a better understanding of the beauty of the Faroe Islands. We have no other words other thank you for this amazing stay!

Besides the name of the location building AOr B would be helpful- when it says located on first floor- I would think that is ground level, but it was not- so difficult to find and had to call. More descriptive in location. Place was great and clean- just what was needed.

We really had great time Arnjohn is a very good host, the house a beautifull position and a wonderfull view, very close to the airport and good to see all the attraction of the isle of Vagar!!

We have just returned from a five day, four night stay in the Faroe Isles. We chose to stay in Torshavn and selected Anna-Maria’s apartment based on previous reviews and photographs. Everything that we had hoped for was as it was advertised! The house location was perfect, a lovely 10 minute walk along the water front and you’re right in the centre of Torshavn’s harbour. Anna-Maria’s home is very well kept with lovely plants and decor throughout. You don’t feel as if you’re in someone’s home due to the apartment’s access location. The apartment was wonderful. Very clean, well presented with lovely decor throughout. The apartment has great views of the water which you can enjoy morning, noon and night as you eat breakfast or dinner at the table. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept sound every night. Anna-Maria was the perfect host and responded to any query we had quickly and efficiently. We will return to the Faroe Isles and staying here again and again. ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay at Helgi’s. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, cozy, and had ample space four our family of four. Helgi went the extra mile in providing a highchair for us. We would definitely stay again!

What a pleasant stay we had in Leirvík. Thorhild and Runi were welcoming and great hosts. It was a great place to explore Eysturoy and the surrounding islands and places to see. Highly recommend.
